"Until then, you can stay"

He heads back to the counter as he sees people entering.

I just look at him from my place,
Think about what just happened.
I stare down at my hands.

He is real and he held my hand, I felt it, my heart felt it too.

I continue watching him work silently.

Though it was the exact same thing over and over again, I still enjoyed it.

And I did because every time he would smile at the customers it would be so beautiful, and I would stare at him smiling for a whole five hours because I'm that jobless.

There were no customers ordering, so he approached me again.

finally..

"Are you hungry?"
I shake my head.

"well I don't care, I'll go make you something..."

I couldn't even say anything to that, he was quick enough to leave.

Moments later, he came back with pancakes.

"Here you go"

He smiles at me and turns to the door to check if anyone has walked in, then he sits down.

And looks at me.

"um-"

"you're even prettier in real life"

Am sorry honey what

Because I'm so shy I couldn't keep eye contact with him so I had to look down.

"Thank you"

Every time the cafe would be empty he would come to me and talk; though they were such short conversations, I enjoyed them and wanted them to last longer.
It was only half an hour later that he decided to close the shop.

"Won't your manager or whatever be mad at you?" I ask him as we step out of the cafe, and he shakes his head and chuckles.
"I am my manager, I own this place."He looks at his small cafe with a cute, proud look.

I smile at him, and after he locked the door to the cafe, we set off into god-knows-where.

"Do you mind me asking you a question,"
He shakes his head.
"How do you manage to handle a cafe all alone?"

He chuckles again and smiles,
I-
He is so beautiful, why

"Long story~"
He stops near to a house and turns to me, grinning.

Can he stop-
Or actually no-

He opens the door, and I follow him inside.
The house that was small from the outside was unexpectedly huge inside.

Why do I get the feeling that I have been here before?
Deja vu probably

I silently sit down on one of the sofas in the room, and he sits next to me, but quickly gets up again.
"Where are my manners-, am sorry, do I get you anything to drink or eat?"

"No no no it is fine, also, I'm not hungry" I try to put my best smile on.

He smiles back.
Beautiful

He sits on a blue couch just next to the one Im sitting on, but on the far edge from me.

I feel awkward

"So, will you tell me that long story?"

He laughs adorably, "you are too interested in my life, aren't you?"

"Oh! Sorry was I asking anything personal?"

"Hmm, no and yes, it is kinda personal because ai don't tell people about this usually, but I guess I will tell you"

"Well, I remember as a kid I had a friend, only friend, whom I loved dearly, and was always willing to do anything for, but she left without telling me anything .."
He pauses for a second to look at the ceiling, then continues.

"She used to take me to an empty cafe near her house, where we used to plan our future there; she wanted to be a doctor, and I had no goals. I was a loner, and she was a popular kid at school, she promised to protect me from all the bullies, even when we grow up, she said she'll take care of me,"

I hug a pillow that was near me as I wait for him to continue,

"So you bought and rebuilt the cafe?"

"Not exactly," he says with a sigh, "I built another one, but let me continue the story first."

"Ah ok sorry"

"When she left, lot of my bullies were now able to make fun of me, beat me and my life was absolute hell, I was mad at her for leaving me alone, but at the same time I missed her,"

"Until now I still remember her beautiful smile"

Why does this sound so familiar?

His smile was beautiful as always, but this time I felt all the pain it held.

He broke the silence by taking in a deep breath, "so I chose to grow up, open a cafe, hoping one day she'll come back"

"So I had to wait so long until I was able to start that cafe, I only opened it a few months ago or something,"

"But before I did, I have had dreams about someone.."

"Someone I definitely recognized,"

He gets up, sits right next to me, and holds my hand,

"I missed you"

I was speechless, I really didn't know what to say, my mind went blank that moment.

He gives me a sad smile.
"Did you not miss me?"

Did I?

His smile fades and his expression was something I never wanted him to be.
He was upset, mad, probably disappointed.

"Do you even remember me Y/N?"

Do I?
I kept searching in my memory for any moments of me and him, any at all that weren't in my dreams.

"Come on! You can't tell me after all that you don't remember me..."

I stay silent.

"Maybe you are the wrong girl..."
He stares down at his feet, biting his bottom lip.

"But I feel like it's you, I really do."

"Maybe it is all the effect of being so lonely that made me this way, I could think any girl is Y/N when she probably isn't"

He turns back to me, our eyes meeting.
"Please say you remember me, I beg you"

I close my eyes hard, searching every where in my memory, everywhere.
God please
When I almost gave up, I see the scene of me promising to protect him, just like in the story that he told me.
The exact same beautiful smile.

"Please..."he was about to cry, at least that's what I could tell through the pain in his voice.
He cups my cheek with one of his hands.

Say you do!
I couldn't get the words out.
Say it
"I-"
He drops his head down on my shoulder.

"God, why does love hurt so much?"

"Why do I love you so much?"

It's boutta end
