Mateo's POV:
7 : 20 pm
I've been trying to look for the right words to write her.
I am sitting at Amameria Espresso coffee shop, I've been here for the past 2 hours and I am halfway through my cappuccino, but it's cold now. The sun is setting, making the sky a coat of pink and orange which reflects through the coffee shop's windows. I spot my reflection through the windows, the sun has made my skin have a golden look to it and a sun-kissed blonde look to my hair. There is no one left at the coffee shop except me which is a usual thing. I spend most of my time trapped in here writing poetry or just writing anything in particular. For me poetry is a way I can give form to my imagination, I use it to define who I am.
The coffee shop is about to close so I make my way out. As I head out I hear a silvery voice, "Have a good night Mateo", I turn around and spot one of my best friends that works there, "Have a good night Thai" I reply.

As I lay on my bed with blank eyes I start thinking about Charlotte. Things haven't been easy with my love Charlotte and I. Distance relationships are not always the best, we are slowly parting from each other. Our relationship has felt more like habit than actual love. We are 6,737 miles apart, but we have still managed to keep a connection somehow, or that is what I think.
