The empty classroom of Seida suddenly fell silent as they listened to the youngest' suggestion. Jooyoung smiled innocently, as he slowly turns his hat around. He grabbed his book and stood between the others.
"Okay, kids. Story time with grandpa Jooyoung." He lifted his hands and not long after, he started talking.
"So after what I have observed with what the group had been doing, we are basically kind of being a real boygroup. Shooting, recording, and stuff like that."
"Are you implying we are ready to be idols?" Jaehyung asked, and Jooyoung responded with a nod.
"Like, I have been here for quite a long time and the fact that you guys have good teamwork made me think so. A boygroup sounds ideal."
"But..." Wooyoung stopped for second, and slowly looked at Hanxing.
"Do it." Hanxing nodded while mouthed to Wooyoung.
"What's wrong?" Seunghyun asked and that is when Wooyoung stood up from his seat. He took a long deep breath and exhaled. He nodded once, changed his accent into a slightly failed western accent and sreamed,
"I wanna be a cowboy!"
No one spoke afterwards, but some (in this case, all of the younger ones) were seen dissapointed at the older line's behaviour. Hanxing and Wooyoung did a high five together and Wooyoung took a seat again with a huge smile still on his face.
"Right..." Jooyoung turned around to the others and ignored completely what Wooyoung had said.
"I mean, look at you guys. Most dance covers don't really sing for their dance covers, do they? And then there is us."
"Yeah, because when we are doing the cover, we do it with effort. We want to show the school that we can do something." Seunghyun explained, trying to clarify the reason behind their works.
"Clearly we all can." Yongjun remarked. No one spoke for quite sometimes, but then Seunghyun stoped the silence and nodded.
"Right...shall we? Where's that audio that we were going to play? Those who are covering today, get ready." Seunghyun walked towards Hanxing and quickly, everyone was already on their desired position, with Taeyoung on camera and the rest monitoring. Today, it is a shooting of Monsta X's shoot out dance cover.
"Man, this feels like survival all over again." Cheolmin commented, making Jooyoung to look at him.
"Did they went through things like this?"
"Yeah. With the audition and all things like that. Produce101 kind of style."
"I don't like Produce101." Taeyoung joined the conversation, but his focus is still on the camera.
"I mean, who does?"
"It's enjoyable! The fake drama and all that." Jooyoung pouted, clearly he was being sarcastic. The 3 students who didn't do the recording went off with their things afterwards.
"Looking at these, I mean all of these...I feel like I want to debut now." Cheolmin mumbled. Taeyoung, hearing what Cheolmin had mumbled though his gaze was still on the camera, gave a small smile to that statement. He deserved it, at least after a really bad past that he had went through.
"That's why I propose that idea!" Now you understand why." Taeyoung turned around to the two after he was done with recording, joining in the conversation.
"If you guys do debut together, hire me as your music video director, okay?"
"Oh no no." Cheolmin denied, as his hand does a 'no no' gesture when denying it. It has always been a habit of his. At least it is good to clarify his points.
