The Dancer

I've had this as a draft for a few weeks, and I finally got around to it. Anyways.....
Go to 3:38. That is the routine you will be doing as you practice with your group.

"We can work from home, oh oh oh oh." With the last note you sang, you struck your final pose, indicating the song was over. Your group, Sleeping Beauties, disbanded when the song finished, and went to grab some water.

"We did really good today, girls! We need that energy when Seventeen gets here, too!" You called out to the group.
Today you all were helping Seventeen with their song, VERY NICE, one of the newest singles. You personally loved the song, so you did most of the choreography for it.

You were on the ground, in a split position, when the boys walked in. They looked at you on the ground, as you did a back hand spring to get up. Most of the members nodded their heads, signaling they were impressed. But Hansol, one of your favorite members, had his jaw open, the look of shock written on his face.

"..woah.." He finally whispered, pure awe struck.
"Thanks..." You said. "Alright, so i guess we'll show you the dance and then we will pair off with you to teach the dance, okay?"

The boys nodded again in agreement.
Your group got into first position as you asked Dino to press play.

Pretend this is your group doing the dance first.

When you finished you were in front again, and you were starting to sweat a little bit. You disbanded, grabbed your water, and walked up to the group.
"So.... What do you think?" You asked.

"I really like it." "Awesome." "Perfect." Those were the responses you got.
Vernon, again has an awe struck look. You blushed as he continued to stare at you. Dino saw this, and shoved Vernon over to you. He winked at you, and gave Vernon a knowing look. To what they knew was beyond you.

It has been an hour now, and everyone was paired off. You being with Vernon of course, as Dino seemed more than happy to send him in your direction.

You started with the kick steps, seeing as you had trouble with that your first time dancing to this song. You and Vernon went over to the mirrors and you showed him, slowly, what to do.

He had trouble the first few times, but eventually got the hang of it. I had him do the move one last time. After doing it, he looked up at me in confirmation that he was done. I nodded in approval. He came to me as I grabbed our waters. We looked around and saw that everyone was just talking, or goofing around. Typical. Of course you were the only person to actually be working. You rolled your eyes in annoyance and looked at Hansol, who looked confused of the situation.

"I'm always the one who is actually doing things, or dances, and this always happens. I seem like the bad guy, or the teacher who pushes people too hard, and then they want to go to a different person in the group." You  explained while rolling your eyes again. Your group always does this and it pissed you off.

"It doesn't make you the bad guy. It shows that you're devoted to what you do, and anybody would be lucky to work with you." Hansol told you. You smiled at him shyly. Hansols eyes lit up with happiness, grabbed your hand, and pulled you down to the floor. You looked at him, a little confused, but smiled anyway.

"If everyone else isn't working, I think that you deserve a little break too." Hansol said. You looked at him and blushed. You had never taken a break from dancing. You always stayed after practice, and would show up before everyone else to rehearse. But for some reason, when you were with Hansol, you felt like you needed to relax and calm yourself down. You decided that it couldn't hurt to take a break. When you sat down, all of the girls in your group looked shocked, to say the least.

"So... what's your favorite color?" Hansol asked you. You looked at him with a hint of annoyance. You never knew why people asked that question, or why people asked said question so much.

".... Olive green." You answered finally. Hansol smiled at you, and you smiled back. He nodded to you, hinting that  it was your turn to ask him something. You thought about one that you've had for a while now.

"Why is Dino constantly pushing you to me?" You asked, your curiosity getting the best of you. His face had turned a bright red, turning away from you. You thought it wasn't as embarrassing at the time, but you realized that it could be a personal question.

"I'm sorry, if you don't want to answer if you don't want to." You explained to him, feeling awful that you made him flustered. He turned to you again, his face still burning but a smile growing on his face. You didn't know why he was smiling at you like that, but the curve of his lips, the dimples on his cheek, you were lost in this wonder in front of you, and you didn't have a map to find your way out. (i'm corny don't judge me :p)

"Dino keeps doing that because...." Hansol trailed off, looking over your shoulder and then back to you. You turned to see Dino giving Hansol a thumbs-up. Suddenly you felt a hand grab your jaw, and you turned your head. When you fully turned back to Hansol, you were met with  a pair of plump, soft lips. Your eyes widened in surprise, before they fluttered shut, your mind easing, and your body relaxing as you melted into the kiss. You could hear people behind you squealing and gasping, but didn't mind them, as you were more focused on the pair of hazel eyes, now looking back at you. You smiled, feeling your cheeks become warm.

"Wow.." Hansol whispered. You nodded, feeling the taste of his lips linger on yours.

"Do you, maybe, want to go out for coffee sometime?" Hansol asked you.

You nodded again. "I would love to." You told him. Your day had just gotten a whole lot better. And you might let up on the routine until next week. Maybe.
