Wait, why must you take me, why must you break me, a heart that no longer feels
Wait, those eyes that seduce me, the lips that enslave me, sweet perfume of the soul
And I, can't see why you left me, even when they told me, I made my way back home
I haunted our story, the places we tread softly, I waited, and you did not come
This heart is so broken, and it won't mend so easy, but I wait, for you to open the door
Your hair's still in my pocket, sealed in a locket, waiting......as I lay upon the floor
Wait, I wait for something, knowing it will be nothing, for a long time in any sense
I move along slowly, knowing that you will love me, so I wait, folded in your memories
I wait, I wait....take my tears as your salty repast, I wait.....forever
