How many times have you thought about what's wrong in your life? Well I guess I have to admit that the feeling of wrong in my mind seems to make a daily visit to my brain. The feelings of hatred and fear fill my mind! My name is Harper Lee Houston, I am 13 years old, and I am in 7th grade. This may be due to the fact that my parents just got a divorce, I have to move, and my sister just died 2 months ago. She was my little sister and her name was Grace Lynn Houston. She was 11 years old.

One sunny day in the middle of June,
the second week in summer, she and my mom were driving to the ice cream store to pick up me and my two friends, Olivia and Jess. My mom had told me to stand by the sidewalk, and wait there because she was in a rush to drop Grace for her dance lessons. As I stood on the curb as an eerie look came over my face as 2 ambulances, 3 cop cars, and 1 fire truck went by sounding as loud as a gunfire. Olivia, Jess, and I crossed the street to see what happened, and there it was. My mother's red GMC Yukon. Totaled. Where was my mom, where was my sister? Then, came answers. My mother was in the second ambulance on oxygen. I got the news that my sister, was dead, on the road.
My shoulders slumped and my legs gave out as I started to cry. My friends called their parents, and went home. I was left their. Alone. Broken.
