Mickey's POV

I got settled in at the tower after a 4 hour tour by Harley. I was now sitting in her room and we were talking. "So, what is your deepest, darkest secret?" I knew I would have to come clean eventually so I took a deep breath and said "Promise not to laugh." Harley thought for a moment and said "Depends." I cringed and she saw that I was uncomfortable and said "I'm kidding, man." I sighed in relief and said "Icantreadpleasedontlaugh!" Harley said "I'm sorry, say that again, slower this time." I paused and finally said "I can't read please don't laugh at me." Harley smiled and said " Now, why would I laugh at that? You are afraid to tell others this, correct?" I looked at her suspiciously and finally nodded. Harley ran out of the room and came back with a book. "To keep you from telling others about this I'll just teach you to read myself." She sat on the bed and opened the book and asked "Do you know your ABC's?" I said "Yes, but I can't write them." Harley nodded and grabbed a notebook and she took a marker and wrote something and said "This is the letter a. You saw how I wrote this? Now I want you to write it." She gave me the notebook and the marker. I attempted to copy it. I showed it to Harley and she made a face, but quickly put a fake smile on and said "It's a start so next letter b."

4 hours later

After writing a terrible version of the alphabet, it was time for dinner. I have to admit I was starving. I sat down next to Harley and everyone sat down. I realized the blonde pop tart loving giant wasn't here. Just as I thought that he walked through the door and said "Everyone I have an announcement to make. I have brought someone who will be staying on midguard because he wants to turn his life around." He turned back to the door and said "Come in, brother." A man with silly Raven hair and pail skin walked in and I heard everyone gasp. Harley's dad stood up and said "Absolutely not, I do not want that man in my tower and near my daughter! So if he is to stay here he is not staying in my tower or if I can help it, in the country!" I leaned over and whispered to Harley "Your dad is super protective of you." Harley nodded and said "You think?" We turned back to the conversation going on and the blonde giant said "Please friend Stark I will make sure he doesn't hurt your child or her new friend or hurt the tower." Harley's dad sighed and said "Fine, but if I see him anywhere near my daughter, Leo, or Mickey he goes back to wherever he came from." The blonde giant smiled and said "Thank you, friend Stark." I have to admit I was curious about why Harley's dad didn't want us near him I'll have to ask Harley later, but for now I'm still hungry. So I dug in.
