Connor: Rachel was a good friend of Kamskis and worked for Cyberlife for a few years before he retired. The day Connor and Hank went to question Kamski Connor saw her talking to Kamski before they went in. When they went in she had only said hello to Connor and Hank and a goodbye. Connor felt something more than he usually does when he is with Hank. He would call that happiness. But he didn't like what this was. Most likely because he didn't know what the feeling was.

Markus: Jade bumped into him on his way to Jericho. She had just gotten groceries and coffee and wasn't paying attention because of all the bags in her hands. She ran into Markus and he had helped her get her bags. He asked her why she didn't have an Android and she said that she didn't believe that they were maids and servants, but friends. He smiled back at her and knew he had made a new friend.
