Ratchet x Optimus OneShots

Confession.....

Orion sighed, he had no idea how he was going to do this, but Elita and Megatronus were some of his closest friends, he couldn't keep something this big from them.

He looked up at his friends, and waited until Ratchet left due to a call, he didn't want Ratchet to find this out until much later. 'Elita, Megatronus..I have something to tell you both..'

The pink femme and the gladiator looked at each other before looking at Orion. 'What is it Pax?' Elita kindly asked. 'I..I..I'm really attracted to Ratchet..I think I might be in love with him even!' He burst out. Orion cringed at his own words. Were they going to laugh at him? He really didn't want that to happen.

Elita looked back at Megatronus with a smug look on her face and held out her servo. Megatronus rolled his optics and placed a small pile of shanix in her servo. Elita quickly counted the amount before she and Megatronus turned back to Orion. 'Alright...do you need any help on how you're gonna confess?'

'Wait a minute..you two were betting on this?'

'Hey, don't look at me! It was her idea!' Megatronus protested, pointing at Elita, who sat there, trying (and failing) to look innocent. 'Well...' Orion sighed. 'It's encouraging to know that both of you don't mind..'

'Pfft..Please Orion..' Elita said. 'It's adorable! Besides, Megatronus and myself have felt like you two really should become a couple'

'But..I think Ratchet just views me as a friend..' Orion said sadly. This caused Megatronus and Elita to burst out laughing. 'You should pay more attention to the way Ratchet looks at you..' Megatronus said. 'Yeah, trust me, a friend does not look at you the way Ratchet does' Elita added on.

'And how do you know that?'

'I just do Megatronus!'

'Oh, are you sure? S..should I confess?' Orion shyly asked. 'Yeah!' his two friends said at the same time. 'Go for it!'

Orion took a deep breath and composed himself. 'I'll confess to him as soon as possible..' He then walked away. They waited until he was out of sight. 'Think he's actually gonna confess?' Elita asked.

'Not really'

'Wanna bet?'

'No'

Orion walked through the Cybertronian streets, thinking about what Megatronus and Elita has told him. I'm going to do it, He told himself. I'm not backing out..

He continued his walk down the streets ,basked in neon blue light, towards Ratchet's place. He thought of all the possible ways he could confess, and all of the outcomes from confessing. Before he could arrive at Ratchet's place, the medic himself just happened to walk around the corner and nearly bumped into the archivist. 'Orion! I was just coming to see you!'

'I was also coming to see you too..' Orion said, smiling warmly. 'There's something really important I must tell you..' Orion placed his servos on Ratchet's shoulder plates. 'I also have to tell you something..' Ratchet said.

Orion took another deep breath, then, he, as well as Ratchet, exclaimed at the same time 'I think I've fallen for you!' before staring in surprise. 'You like me?!' Orion in his shocked state couldn't help smiling. Ratchet was dumbfounded. 'You like me?!' He exclaimed. 'B..But..I thought you wouldn't return my feelings..I..I thought you would have fallen for someone like Megatronus or Elita..' Ratchet stuttered. 'I've been friends with Megatronus and Elita for some time Ratchet...it would have been awkward falling for one of them..' Orion calmly explained. 'But you're different...I'd do anything to protect Megatronus and Elita...which is kind of hard to to since they can handle themselves better then I can..but you..I refuse to let you come to the slightest of harm..'

Ratchet just looked into Orion's blue optics, his own managing to convey every bit of emotion he was feeling. 'Orion..I think you're amazing! I really look up to you...and I'd do anything for you..you're just so sweet, kind, intelligent and..' Ratchet was cut off when Orion's lips met his own. Both of their faceplates flushed bright neon blue. 'You don't need to say anything else Ratchet..I feel every bit the same about you..' Orion touched Ratchet's faceplate with his servo.
