Chapter 16

I sat down. I was so not going to allow him to ruin my day. A few more students enter the classroom followed by Mrs Smith. She looked ugly today. She basically put an overload of makeup. Someone should say something... Someone.

The lesson carries on. They were talking about reproduction and how to prevent certain things when have... you know what. It was disgusting but I  managed to understand everything and not get distracted by Ben and his possie. The period was then finished and I was the first to get out of the classroom. I went straight to the ladies room to go check myself out. Today I'm really not in the mood for any nonsense. I'm basically not in a happy mood.

I looked at myself in the mirror for a couple of minutes. I was looking just fine today. I walked out of the ladies room and I started walking in the direction of my next class when I bumped into Jayden.

" Hey babe. It's been a while since I saw you. I miss you. How about you come hang out with me at lunch." He said.

"Oh, no I can't. I'm hanging out with Nicole and Calsey at lunch."

"Tell your friends to take a hike. Your hanging out with me today. I'll see you at lunch." He says while walking away leaving me mind-blown. Since when did Jayden become the bad type. I'm not complaining or anything, but his never been that guy to take charge like that. The bad boy act does look go on him but I don't want it. I don't want a guy thinking he can rule over me like that. I'm going to simply put him in his place. At lunch I'm so not going to sit with him.

I carried on walking and bumped into someone else. I really didn't care who I bumped into.

"Get out of my way." I said while I attempted to pass the person but they grabbed my arm with their warm hands. "What the fuck do yo-". When my eyes met with Ben's eye, my words were caught in my throat. He too looked at me and smirked.

Fuck his smirk, act tough...act.

"Don't touch me. I've got places to be, don't you."

"I would if my guide would show me around." He must be kidding me about this whole guide thingy. Hell no, I've got better things to do.

"You know what Ben. I liked you, I really did, but you changed. I didn't like what I did to you and I'm sorry for doing that to you. But Jayden has been a great boyfriend and best friend to me. He knows my ups and downs. I worked really hard to get Jayden back, and he loves me very mu-"

"You say he loved you. Would a guy who loves you leave you for another girl. You say he knows your ups and downs, but last time I checked, he broke up with you because of the kind of girl you are. I know I wouldn't have treated you like that. He easily got over you Rose, and got another girl in a matter of days. Then you tell me he loves you. Wow. My meaning of love is way different from yours. I love you Rose and I'll forever love you, just so you know. You can love whoever you like, but honestly what Jayden did to you is not true love." Then he walked away and turned a corner.

What he said was true and it hurt to know that he was right. I worked hard for a person who might not love me.

Ben... He was right, he is right.
