"Aww you're too cute honey" Corbyn complimented me.
"So are you" I say and give him a wink.
"Hey, can you give me a couple minutes. I need to pee and poo" Corbyn said in the cute little baby tone.
"Of course you can baby. But don't take too long" I said and we both laughed. He walked out and headed straight to the nearest restroom.
I'm still sitting on this washing machine. I took my phone out of my pocket and look up for something interesting. But seems like there's nothing interesting.
Then, I paced back and forth. Okay I'm bored. I take a walk out of the laundry. I saw an old lady is sitting on passage way floor. She looks super old and hungry. Aww pity her. I walk towards her and I knee down, lean towards her.
"Hey ma'am. Are you alright? What are you doing here? " I asked her politely.
"Yes I am. Thanks for asking sweetheart. I'm just waiting for my son to pick me up. It's been 2 hours since he has gone. I don't even know where is he going" she replied. Gosh. Don't you say that her son left her here on purpose. Wtf.
"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry ma'am. Are you feeling hungry or maybe thirsty?"
"Just a little bit. Don't worry. I'm used to it" she exclaimed and give me a warm-forced smile.
Oh my gosh. Watching an old lady act this way makes me sad. My heart can't take this. I want to cry.
"Do you eat hot dog?" I asked her since the hot dog stall just a couple feet away from me.
"Sure" she smiled.
I walk to the hot dog stall and asked for two hot dogs and a bottle of mineral water. "Thank you. Keep the change" I say as I pay for the hot dogs.
I walk back to the old lady and pass her the foods and water. "Here you go" I smile.
"Thank you so much sweetie. You shouldn't have though. You really deserve the whole world. A beautiful, kind and strong woman like you surely deserve the whole world and love from your best husband. You're lucky to have him though" She exclaimed as she took the foods and water from me.
"You're welcome and Thanks...and how do you know I do have a husband?" I asked in confusion. I ain't wearing my ring today because I'm gonna do the laundry. I'm scared something will happen to that ring.
"I know more than you know" she smiles again.
"okay. That's kinda weird..." I replied in awkward tone.
"okay lemme ask you a question. If you've given a wish, what would you do?" the lady asked me.
"I think.. Probably I'd go back to May 22nd, 2019 and change everything that I could. I'll make sure that my husband won't encounter me, so we don't have to get married and he will be free and happy without me and this disease; and probably he's happy living with Tania and their beautiful children. I know that won't happen. It's freaking absurd though. Just if I could turn it back.." I say and giggle.
"Nothing is impossible Christina. If you wish so, go put this dirty clothes in the washer and just believe that it will happen." she said and handed me a laundry bag full of dirty clothes. Wait. WOAH. How the heck she knows my name? Is she a psychic or something?
I took the laundry bag and chuckle nervously saying "oh, okay. Hahaha"
I put the clothes in the washer and let the washing machine do the work.
"Okay, then?" I ask the old lady.
"Your wish will be granted. But remember, don't change the whole thing cause it might affect your present or future. Thanks for helping me then. God bless you and have a nice day." within a blink, she has gone from my vision. It's blurry.
