Chapter 50

~At Issas House~

{Taylor arrives at Issa's house and is cheerfully greeted by both of his kids. She greets them back and sits next to Issa}

Issa: I'm glad you came, I needed someone to chill with

Taylor: You can chill with your kids

Issa: They're momma coming in a few to pick them up and imma be alone

Taylor:Oh ok, so about the whole date thing um... I don't know if I wanna do that with you

Issa: Lets talk about this when my kids leave ok

Taylor: Alright

{10 minutes later Brianna picks up the kids from Issa's house and now Taylor and Issa are left alone}

Issa: So what were you saying?

Taylor: I don't think I'm willing to go on the date with you. I mean it's cool to be friends and co-parent But I just feel like I don't wanna be with someone knowing there vulnerable and might hurt me

Issa: But I promise I won't if you give me a chance

Taylor: How should I know that Issa? By what I've observed you aren't ready to be committed in a real relationship

Issa: So you just only wanna be friends

Taylor: Thats all I wanted to be, your the one who wanted me to go on a date with you

Issa: Ok so let's say this.... I work on myself and I'll shoot my shot again 9 months from now when the baby is here

Taylor: Why do you want to be with me so bad?

Issa:...

Taylor: I know why, it's because I remind you of her isn't it?

Issa: N-no

Taylor: Why you stuttering for? You obviously lying in my face Issa

Issa: I'm not

Taylor: You want me so you can still feel connected to Denise and you can't get over her. Just admit to me you still love her... it's ok

Issa: I am but-

Taylor: Issa you're an amazing man and an amazing father just know I understand how you are feeling. I know breakups are hard but you'll get through it

Issa: Thats why I like you you're way different from Denise

Taylor: What you mean?

Issa: You actually take the time to understand me, that's what made me like you Tay and you always listen to me.... you never walk away from your problems

Taylor: *smiles* It's because I'm a grown woman. I'm not gonna be childish and not be the bigger person and face my problems

Issa: Well If we're gonna be just friends can we be beneficial?

Taylor: Did you not just hear what I told you?

Issa: *laughs* It's just a suggestion, we can't be friends with benefits?

Taylor: No, don't play with me Issa

Issa: Ok , Ok I'm sorry it was just a joke

Taylor: Mmhmm it better be

<Issa's P.O.V>
Taylor is the complete opposite of Denise. You'd think because they're sisters that they would act alike but Nah they're completely different. There's certain tendencies that Taylor has that remind me of Denise but that doesn't change the fact that Taylor treats me better. She's all I ask for in a woman, Smart, Mature, Caring, And Self Made. Nothing that Denise had.

~At Jacquees House~

Naomi: Baby, this might sound crazy but I feel bad for Chris

Jacquees: Why?

Naomi: I feel like I hurt his feelings, the way the sadness filled his eyes really made me feel bad for what I said, especially all the shit I put him through

Jacquees: What about the shit he put you through?

{Naomi thinks to herself}

Naomi: ..... He never put me through anything, it was all Tray.... The only thing Chris did was blame me for everything and now I can understand why

Jacquees: So you think everything is your fault

Naomi: No but I did play a part in that whole situation, I feel like I need to apologize to him

Jacquees: Baby I think if we just leave and move to Miami then everything will be good.

Naomi: I'm not gonna keep running from my problems Que

Jacquees: Alright... just call him and tell him to meet you here so y'all can talk things over

Naomi: I will

{Naomi began to call Chris but he didn't answer so she left a message}

Naomi- Hey Chris it's me Naomi , I feel like we need to talk about a lot of things that's happened between us. Call me back when you get the chance, or just come over to my place so we can talk things over.
