it was the morning of christmas eve, it was snowing outside as we had a couple of customers at the diner. the boys have already started working here. i was wiping down one of the tables where one of the customers just left.
"well if it isn't my favorite girl working hard." ethan said laughing. he came and wiped the table next to mine.
"and if it isn't mr. steal your girl." i said putting my hand on my hip and shaking my head making my santa hat move. every employee had a santa hat on.
"listen, veronica.." ethan said as he stopped wiping and leaned on the table facing me.
"you silly, call me roni." i interrupted.
"well roni, i really like you." he confessed taking a step closer to me.
"oh really?" i ask sarcastically as i took a step closer. he sat on the table.
"i do." he continued taking another step as we almost touched bodies.
"well what if i told you.." i said quietly as i whipped my arms around his neck. i stood in between his legs.
"i really like you too." i whispered as i got close to his ear. i looked at him and he looked at me. our faces got closer, and closer, and closer..
"ding-ding"
vanessa put a mistletoe over us two as we looked up and then smiled at each other then we touched lips. i could hear vanessa's small squeals.
"alright, alright get back to work." our papa said as he smiled at us. we all laughed.
"i'm glad you two are getting close." nessa said as she held an empty tray back to the counter as me and ethan was together with his arm around me.
"very close i see." she says laughing as we laugh along with her.
"and i'm glad to see you." grayson says coming out of the kitchen kissing her on the lips.
"wait, wait, if you guys are dating and we start dating is that illegal?" i ask. we all look at each other thinking.
"nahh." we'll all say in unison laughing.
