Hazelpaw woke up and saw Kinkfurs pelt brushing past her. She lifted her head, which throbbed. She looked at the medicine cat as she rushed around, looking for herbs, " K.. Kink... fur...? " She coughed out. Kinkfur turned around, and padded over, sitting down, " Put your head down, Hazelpaw. Rest, your still healing. " Hazelpaw put her head down, and choked out a few words, " H... How l... long have.. I.... b... been a.... asleep...? " She asked, and Kinkfur got up, walking back to her store of herbs, " About 2 and a half days. You started bleeding just a minute ago, so I was rushing to find cobweb. " She picked up the cobweb and padded back over, pushing it on her belly, " You can't go to the gathering tonight. " She meowed, making sure the cobweb stayed on, and she padded back over to her herbs, and began to sort them. Hazelpaw yawned and than looked over, " When will I be able to go back to the apprentices den? " She asked, and Kinkfur didn't look back, " Tommorow, but you will have to go easy on the training, and you'll have to visit me everyday. Oh, and no battling or patrols till I say. " Hazelpaw nodded slightly and put her head back down, closing her eyes.
Hazelpaw woke up to Kinkfur, who was prodding her lightly, " You can go back to the apprentices den now. Again, take it easy and— " Hazelpaw interrupted her, " Visit you everyday, no patrols or battling till you say so. I got it. " She got up and smiled, leaving the den. She pressed through the small hole that was the entrance to the den. She curled up in her nest and looked over at Wolfpaw, who was awake, eating a Shrew, " Hey, Wolfpaw. " She greeted him. He looked up from his meal, " Oh hey, Hazelpaw. Glad your back. " Hazelpaw nodded, and thought back to the battle, " What happened in the battle? " She asked, and Wolfpaw looked up, remembering what happened, " It was crazy. After Owlgaze saved me I clawed the enemy down the flank. Owlgaze pinned him, and I bit his ear. Once he was released he went running, tail between his legs. And than, more Riverclan warriors came in, leaping into battle. I was worried, until a thunderclan fighting patrol came, they saved us and than Riverclan retreated. I will never forget that battle! " Hazelpaw nodded, imaging the battle. She put her head down, " I'm sad I missed it. All I remember is a blur. " Wolfpaw shrugged, " It wasn't even the biggest battle we have had. I have heard of far worse, and some of the worst battles were over prey! " He laughed as he finished the sentence, and Hazelpaw joined him, Over prey? Wow! So stupid! She thought, as she closed her eyes and went to sleep.
