A World Ruled by One Direction

Rules and Regulations

Rylee and I headed home after the sushi luncheon. I still couldn't believe that One Direction is actually going to be ruling over America. But we are only the first country. Next it will be England probably and every other country soon after. I decided to do some research on what exactly will be going on. The official rules won't be posted till tomorrow but I just want to know how our government is still going to be running while they rule.

The minute I was home, I ran upstairs and locked myself in my bedroom. I turned on my laptop and prepared to do some researching. I went to Google and stared at the screen for a moment. What exactly am I going to be looking for? I tapped my chin and searched the induction cermony and decided to watch it again. I listened carefully to what they were saying and went to search for details.

I went to the search box and typed in "America's government under One Direction's rule"

The results pulled up a couple articles and blogs from people. One article mentioned that 'With One Direction ruling over America, the United States government officials will be governing the country as normal only just to approve everything by the boys first.'

 I frowned reading that. I opened my drawer and pulled out a notepad. I wrote down a few things from the articles and placed the notepad back in the desk.

"I still don't know how this is all going to work?" I muttered to myself. "Something doesn't seem to be adding up right now."

I rubbed my temples and decided to go onto YouTube to clear my head. I think I fell asleep watching a PewDiePie or Jenna Marbles video. I don't really remember but I woke up to something hitting my window. 

"I'm awake!" I said, sitting up quickly. I rubbed my cheek where it leaned on the keyboard. I heard the same sound hit my window again and I got out of the chair to figure out what was going on. I opened the window and dodged a pebble that almost hit me. "Hey!"

"Sorry! You never answered your phone so I was trying to get your attention some other way," a male voice spoke from the garden.

I looked around and finally saw my neighbor, Tyler, standing there with a bunch of pebbles in his hand. "What are you doing here Ty? What time is it anyways?"

Tyler looked at his watch before looking back up at me. "It's 12:30 in the morning. I texted you at 8 but you never answered. I needed to talk to you."

I gasped realizing how late it was. I was researching at 3 so I had to pass out around 5ish then. "What do you need Ty?"

"Tell me, is it true One Direction is actually going to be the new leaders or rulers over our country? Like, is this for real?"

I sighed leaning my elbows against the window sill. "Yea, it's really going to happen. I don't know too much but from what I searched our government will still run the way it is now however, the boys will be approving major changes that happen."

Tyler crunched his eyebrows together. "That's weird. And we are supposed to get a rules list or something tomorrow?"

I couldn't help but laugh. "Yes, a rules and regulations law list will be posted first thing. I figure we can check it out on the closest news site or something. Anything else you need to know?"

Tyler shook his head. "Nope. I just really wanted to talk about this with someone."

"Okay cool. Well, I'm gonna go back to sleep so I will talk to you some other time alright Ty?"

"Okay. Goodnight Claire."

I said goodnight and watched him hop back over his fence. I closed my window and changed into my pajamas. I threw my covers over my face and cuddled my pillow. Something tells me that I will need enough sleep before tomorrow or today comes. That's exactly what I did too was sleep. This time though, instead of waking up to rocks hitting my window, I woke up to Rylee hitting me with a pillow.
