▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Jaemin went to school and realized that y/n isn't there. Jaemin didn't see y/n too on his way to school and it worried him.
"You guys didn't see y/n?" Jaemin softly asked the boys as they shake their heads.
"Jaemin, you haven't heard the news with Jisung?" Renjun asked him then Jaemin sit down, shaking his head.
"Why? What's wrong?"
"Ahri had the hanahaki disease, he said Sumire has it too." He said then Jaemin's eyes widened. Sumire? The girl he likes has the Hanahaki disease.
Now, the boy is terrified. He tried not to fall to fall in love but he already has one in mind. The boys then became quiet, worried about each other.
"Do you like someone, Jaemin?" Jeno finally decided to ask him then Jaemin slowly nodded. The boys then start looking all worried for the boy.
"Make sure to make her fall in love with you. By the way, y/n didn't go to school. She had something to do." Jeno said then Jaemin bite his lip before grabbing his bag and running out of the school.
He immediately run to y/n's house, he knocked on the door as soon as he came. Y/n opened the door, looking all confused.
"Aren't you supposed to be at school?" She asked then Jaemin shake his head.
"No, I'm supposed to be with you." Jaemin shyly smiled then y/n blushed. She hid her face until Jaemin removed her hand and stare directly at her eyes.
"You shouldn't be here, Nana." Y/n said then Jaemin frowned.
"Why not?"
"Because—" Y/n was cut off by her dad pulling her hair inside. The door suddenly closed on Jaemin and his eyes widened.
He keeps hitting the door, shouting y/n's name but all he could hear is her shrieking. Jaemin kicked the door open and saw her dad hitting her.
"Old man, don't do that to her." Jaemin said, glaring at him then he suddenly laughed. Y/n held her head to her hands, scared for dead life.
"Why? She's just a failure. I have to cost more money just for her so, what's the god damn point?" He said then Jaemin looked at her.
"She's not a failure, she's far from that. She has accomplished a lot but you weren't there to experience it." Jaemin said then he scoffed.
"Have it your way. You move out of this place, woman." Her dad pushed Jaemin out of the way before leaving the house.
Jaemin waited for him until he completely left and run to y/n. He immediately hugged her, caressing her hair. Y/n gripped on his shirt, crying.
"Shh... just stay at my house from now on. You'll be so much safer." Jaemin said then she nodded.
▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Jaemin gave her an ice pack before putting her bags in the guest room.
Jaemin lives alone but his parents are the one providing money from him. Y/n lie down on the sofa, the ice pack on her forehead.
Jaemin went back downstairs and saw y/n sleeping. He smiled softly and sit down beside her. Jaemin then starts coughing and felt a pain on his chest.
He suddenly found it kinda hard to breathe and hit his chest a couple of times before the pain go away.
He got a sudden message from Chenle.
DOLPHIN Hyung, Sumire's disease is getting worst, please tell the boys that I can't come later at the hang out.

I turned off my phone, breathing heavily. I looked at y/n and frowned.
