//Hello! <3 I won't ask you to forgive me for leaving you guys too long...but please don't leave or please don't stop reading it. This story will be continued till the end. //

Im Hyunsik...

Finally, we are talking about Im Hyunsik. A twenty-five-year-old with an extreme passion in music. He is from a wealthy family but he lives alone because his father kicked him out for choosing art while in university.

This may sound like a typical main character from some k-drama.

Except the fact that he is not like those cool guys who are always good at pick-up lines and never fail to make people fluttered.

He may wear leather jackets and carry guitar everywhere he goes but that doesn't make him a perfect k-drama guy.

He may seem to be calm and flirty around this cute guy, he met last a few weeks ago, whose name is Ilhoon. But the reality inside his head is the opposite of what everyone sees. He is just as nervous as Ilhoon and can be tongue-tied every time he saw Ilhoon's face flashed in pink.

However, his nervousness is all gone every time he saw that cute blush runs Ilhoon's cheeks.

Last night, he could successfully ask Ilhoon out and thus, today, Hyunsik spent the whole afternoon to choose clothes to wear for his date. Yes, he calls it a date because two people went out to have dinner, if that's not a date, then what is, right? Ilhoon may or may not know if it is their first date, but it's okay. Hyunsik will make him realize they are going on a date at the end of the day.

So, he chose what he thinks is appropriate enough to wear for a date.

Their date plan goes like this, he will pick Ilhoon up at 3 pm then they might walk around the park or somewhere nice before dinner. At night, he will walk him home. He will tell the younger that it is their first date if Ilhoon has no clue about it.

However, that plan is not going well because Hyunsik is now running as if he is in the race. And it is all because he is an hour late.

Jesus Christ.

You know, he is supposed to drive to the café with his small red van and wait outside until Ilhoon comes out. When he sees the younger, Hyunsik would open the door for him.

However, his car engine was dead out of nowhere and he had to wait nearly twenty minutes for the bus. And guess what? There were a freaking traffic jam and the stupid rain which started pouring down heavily. To make this series of unfortunate events more miserable, he doesn't take an umbrella with him.

Luck is not on his side, obviously.

So, when he reached to the nearest bus stop, he gets off and run to the café. He must thank God that the rain stopped.

And how terrible it is, Ilhoon is nowhere to be found when he reached to the café. From the waiter named Eunkwang, he said that Ilhoon has left for almost fifteen minutes.

Great.

Of course, who would wait someone being late to their date, first date? And the person to blame is Hyunsik. He should have settled on his decision on outfit earlier. He should have checked his car. Well, that was a second-hand car after all. It's the only car that he could afford with his salary.

"He was waiting for someone." Eunkwang said. "And it must be you."

"Yeah" he let out a sign. "...and I screwed up." Hyunsik saw Eunkwang gives him a pathetic smile.

"You should wait till the rain stopped." Another waiter joins their conversation, with the name card "Minhyuk".

"Right..."

"I am Eunkwang, by the way. And this is Minhyuk."

Okay, although he's late, let's see it from the bright side, he makes friends.

"I am Hyunsik."

"Man, you look so tired." Eunkwang claimed. Well of course, who wouldn't look tired after running to the date?

"Ilhoon was waiting for you too, I guess because he was staying with us for like 40 minutes. after his shift." Minhyuk said.

40 minutes...yep, he is definitely screwed.

"I see..." Hyunsik nodded, mentally punching himself. Being late for their first date is definitely not a good sign and plus, Ilhoon might not even want to see him again.

"If you don't want to wait, you can take this umbrella. One of the customers left it here for months." Minhyuk handed him an umbrella. And what else can he do? He didn't bring one and he looks so terrible to stay inside the café.

"Thank you." he smiled as he took the umbrella and left.

Last two weeks ago, the luck was taking his side but this week, it was just a total opposite. So, under this clear umbrella, Hyunsik waited the traffic light turns into green and started crossing the road.

All of the sudden, it reminds him of how he hates rain. Okay, last night he thought rain is not that bad because Ilhoon said he likes rain. But now, the road gets slippery and okay, let's face it. Rain is bad. It causes people to slip and fall on the road and it just make the day more gloomy and dull. So, this explains Hyunsik and Ilhoon like the complete opposite things. There is no way that Ilhoon might go out with him.

Oh god, so the conclusion was that Hyunsik is a loser. He is such a loser that he didn't make anything right and he even put all the blame on the innocent rain with totally not reasonable facts.

He crossed the road, closed his eyes and let a sigh and murmured once he reached the other side of the pavement.

"I am such a-"

"H-hi."

Wait...Hyunsik opened his eyes when he heard the voice that he wanted to hear the whole day.

"I-Ilhoon?"

He saw a boy standing in front of him under the purple umbrella with a big white shirt and loose jeans.

"Hi." Ilhoon smiled at him.

"H-hey..." Hyunsik felt like he was hypnotized as soon as he saw a shy smile from Ilhoon.

".. I thought you already went home." Just say sorry, Hyunsik. That's what he has been telling him but he ends up awkwardly standing in front of the younger.

"I-I left my notebook there."

At this point, Hyunsik feels like he should be thankful that Ilhoon forgets his notebook.

"I thought you won't come." Ilhoon softly speaks, sounded a little disappointed. You are so screwed, Hyunsik. So screwed.

"I, I am really sorry." Then, he started to explain. "...My car suddenly gets out of order and there was traffic jam. I also had to wait for the bus for almost half an hour. And there was this stupid rain. So, please let me apologize you. It will never happen again." He explained everything hopelessly except the part that he is also late because he took too much time in choosing outfit.

"...it's okay."

Oh.

"...You are here now." Ilhoon said.

Oh. Is he forgiven?

"I...am I forgiven?" he asked hoping the second chance. Then he eyes wonder around Ilhoon's eyes which are just curl and creating some thin lines on his face.

"Yes, you are." Ilhoon just giggled. Damn, that could be the death of Hyunsik.

"Should we go now? I am going back to café first." The younger asked, standing at the pedestrian traffic light, waiting for it to turn into green so that they can cross the road.

Hyunsik wanted to jump around the pavement but he is trying to look cool in front of Ilhoon, so jumping around is a no-no.

"...sure." He stands beside Ilhoon also waiting for the light to turn into green.

And suddenly, the heavy rain gets a little less annoying.

//It's 1:45 am in my country and I am still writing this for next chapter. ;) See you too soon <3 <3//
