after Yuma stormed out I figured I'd have to steal the keychain

"I have never seen him so angry" Azusa says

"That keychain means more to him than his own life" ruki adds

I need that keychain I thought

LATER THAT NIGHT

Yuma was in the shower his uniform laid out on his bed so as quietly as I could I crept over to his bed and looked at the keychain on the table

I snatched it and shoved it in my pocket hoping to be able to return it tomorrow after showing it to y/n as proof I didn't lie to her

I sat on my bed waiting for the time to leave I turned the chain over and his name was engraved on it

Edgar L/n in and old inscription and below that in a newer inscription said the name

I quickly shoved it back in my pocket when I heard my brother yell

I ran to his room meeting the others to see Yuma searching his bed area

"Dude what's going on" I ask

"THE KEYCHAIN it's gone"

"Seriously where did it go" I try to sound convincing as concerned

"What part of gone do you not get"

"I'm sorry I'm just concerned you never take it off you and seeing you like this now worries me"

He looked over to us

"Ruki"

"Yes" he asks

"Are we going to be late"

"Yes we have 5 minutes to leave"

"I'll search later but I can't stop till I find it"

"Maybe you dropped it in the dining room when you stormed out earlier" Azusa said

"Yeah maybe but let's go I'll look there first later"

We go to school and after my last class I found y/n looking absolutely beautiful again wait what am I saying she is my brothers sister so practically my sister I can't think that way about her

"HEY y/n Chan"

She had stopped and looked at me

"Oh mukami"

"Listen I have the keychain" I say

"Really" she asks

"Yes I stole it from him but I plan to return it"

I hand it to her and I see tears form in her eyes... She turns it over and starts to cry

She hands it back to me and hugs me

"Thank you kou" she said in a sniffling voice but she sounded happy

"Are you ok" I ask returning her hug gently

"Yes I was just shocked and happy"

She turns her locket around and I read

And below it Kitten in the exact same scripture as Edgar L/n

"So Yuma is your brother"

She nods "and I didn't believe him"

"Maybe you can catch him and tell him"

"No it's probably too late also I'm late to the limo but can you tell him something"
