Clouis One-Shots!

Reunited

"Clementine! Someone's at the gates!"

Her heart fell to her stomach, and the map she was holding fell from her grasp. Worry filled her and she stood up sharply, her fist clenched and she grabbed her knife from the desk. Louis gave her a tight reassuring smile,

"Everyone is in their positions, Mitch and Aasim are holding them at the gates. Ruby is watching AJ." He explained, Clementine pursed her lips, "Good, let's go." She buffs walking down the hall, the determination in her stance was something, Louis feared and admires.

"Clem!" She heard him call out to her, but she kept on walking the only thing on her mind was keeping this group safe, dealing with the threat. "Wait a minute, Darlin!" Louis breathed out, grabbing her arm, spinning her around to face him. Her cold stare softened at the worried look on her boyfriends usually cheerful face.

"Lou?" She frowned, brushing her hand over his cheek. He stared at her for a minute before bringing her into a quick kiss. "Please..." He breathes out, his eyes locking with hers. "Be careful." Clementine smiled and kissed his nose.

"I promise, " she pulled away and nodded, "Let's go." Louis nodded and his grip tightened on Chairles, "Let's kick some ass, Clemster." Quickly they rushed down the hall, bursting through the main doors.

Clementine's eyes narrowed as she ran down the steps, she could hear Mitch arguing at the gate with the man? While Aasim had his bow pointed at them. Glancing at Louis, they both quickened their pace, her heart pounded and her grip tightened on her knife.

"State you-" her breath caught, her throat and her eyes widened. "L-Lee?" She whispered, tears falling, the man's eyes widened and he blinked rapidly.

"Clementine..." A slow smile spread across his face and at that moment she felt like a kid again. It's been years since they've been split up, in the jewelry store she thought he was going to die from the bullet wound... She left him, even though he told her she still carried the guilt.

"Lower your weapons, and open the gates." She demanded, Aasim and Mitch gave her startled look. "Clem, " Mitch sighed, him and Aasim shared a look before looking at her. She growled slightly and took her eyes off of Lee, to glare at them.

"Don't go all big brothers to me guys. Now lower your weapons and open the gates." She demanded again, she could feel Louis's gaze on her as he stepped forward and unlocked the gates. Aasim and Mitch sighed, lowering their weapons, the others slowly doing the same. When the gates were opened, she didn't waste any time to throw herself in Lee's arms. All of her pent-up emotions that she kept under a lock and chain finally broke. Tears streamed down her face and sobs wracked her body, Lee's grip tightened on her and never wanted to let go. She jumped slightly when a gentle hand was set on her shoulder, breaking the hug she looked behind her and was met with Louis's gentle smile.

"Let's move this inside? It's getting dark and Omar is starting Dinner." He suggests, Clementine nodded and looked at Lee and led him inside, the gates being locked and closed behind them. She smiled at Lee and tears filled her eyes again.

Lee let out a broken laugh, "Don't cry, sweet pea. You'll get me started again." Before she could speak, she was interrupted by someone calling her and Louis's names.

"Clem, Louis!" AJ yelled, running towards them, smiling as she stepped forward and opened her arms for the little boy. When he was in her arms squeezing him tightly, Louis joins in as well. "Why aren't you inside, little dude?" Louis asked setting the boy down. Clementine laughed and looked at Lee, who looked confused at the exchange.

"There is a lot to tell you, Lee." She chuckled and crossed her arms, "Let's get you settled first?"

"How did you make it out of Savanah?" She asked during the campfire that night, AJ curled up to her side, dozing off slightly and Louis sat on her other side with sitting across from them. Lee frowned at the question and crossed his arms, "Well, after I passed out. I woke up hours later, Molly had found me and patched me up." Clementine's eyes widened, "Molly found you?" She whispered, guilt filled her again and she looked down, she shouldn't have left him there she could have helped.

"Yeah, she did. I went through the hoard again and kept on searching for you." A sad smile crossed his features, "Look at you now, all grown up sweet pea." His gaze fell on AJ and he smiled, "You're in my shoes now huh?" He teased, she let out a laugh and shook her head glaring playfully at him. She looked down at AJ, who was asleep against her and her face softened, Louis stood up and smiled at them.

"I'll take him to bed," he walked over to the little boy, lifting him into his arms. "I'll be back." He told them, walking off towards the building, Clementine watched him with a fond smile. Lee cleared his throat and Clementine blushed and looked over, Lee chuckled at her reaction and leaned moved seats, so he was sitting next to her. "You care about him?" He asked, amusement filling his voice, biting her lip Clementine nodded.

"Just like how you cared about Carley." She smirked crossing her arms, then her face softened and she sighed. "I'm scared to lose him." She confessed her voice cracking slightly, Lee sighed and set his hand on her shoulder, "You won't, Clem." She pursed her lips and nodded slightly. She licked her lips and looked at Lee,

"It's been weird, without you being here." Letting out a breath he nodded, "It's been weird, Clem. Sometimes I missed you say swear..." He started to smirk, "But, it looks like I should be saying that to you." Letting out a scoff she bumped his shoulder, "Hey! What did I miss?" Louis laughed, walking back over, Lee smirked and looked at Louis. Silently Clementine was praying Lee wouldn't threaten her boyfriend.

"Oh, Clem here was just telling me about you." Louis's face fell and he swallowed heavily, "Oh? R-really?" He fidgeted slightly. Lee crossed his arms and stared at the boy, "What are your intentions with my daughter?" He asked making Clementine facepalm. This is her life now, but she wouldn't give it up for the world.
