Chapter 1

School? I've graduated 3 years ago but now is only the right time to use what I've learned and start looking for the job that'll suit for my chosen course. I've studied business management when I was in college and I kind of excel in my class. Though I think it's hard to find a job since I don't have any experience at all.

My parents worked hard and tried their best to keep the farming stable so I can complete my studies and I promise to my self that I will help and prioritize them and the farm first.

After I graduated, I decided to help my family with our little farming business. So I traveled back to our province and used what I've learned in class to expand our business more. A year after that, we bought a land next to ours to expand more. And now that the farm was stable, I've decided to continue my journey in the city.

As I arrived at the Capital of our country yesterday, I immediately looked for a cheap hotel room so I can save money. I only have 5,000 pesos ($100) for heaven's sake. I have to find a job immediately so I can look for another room or I'll just find a dorm and share a room with other people. But instead of finding it after finding a job, I ended up renting a room now. The location is nice and I'm also sharing a room with two other girls and they're kind so I advance my payment to the landlord.

After 7 hours of looking for a job, I still haven't found one. It's currently 2 in the afternoon and I didn't even eat lunch, my energy is drained.

Maybe looking for a job here in the city is very much different from our province? Oh my god, do I need to set up an appointment before even applying? How?

I just decided to buy some street food before going back home just to avoid stomachache due to starvation. It's 2pm and the office hours are until 6pm so I don't think I can find one job right now and especially that easy...

I started to open my eyes as my alarm went off. The weather is great today, thank god. I went to the bathroom to do my morning routine. After that, I checked the time on my phone. It's 6:12am. Wow, I took 40 minutes in the bathroom.

I went out my room and saw the girls doing their make-ups in the living room (the room that I was saying is like a mini condo unit, we shares a room and have our own different beds but we have a living room and a kitchen)

"Morning" I heard Katelyn and Trisha said in unison.

I chuckled and greeted them back.

I somehow find out their names when they introduced themselves yesterday.

"We cooked a breakfast for you, it's a treat since you're new here. Treat it like a welcome gift" Trisha smiled.

"Oh, thank you so much."

As I was eating my breakfast, I saw Katelyn and Trisha starting to walk towards me.

"Where do you live before coming here?" Katelyn asked.

"At our province, I'm not really from here so yeah..." I shrugged.

"Oh, that's why you kinda have a different accent" She added.

"Really? Is it that obvious?" I was shocked that she even noticed it.

"So, what brings you here?" now, Trisha asked.

"Looking for a job"

"Oh, what kind of job are you looking for?"

"Something connected to business managing..."

"That's kinda hard, you need to attend an interview before getting a position at a company" Trisha said.

"What's the name of the company you wanna work for? Maybe we can help you check their website if they have any interwiew coming and if they're even hiring" Katelyn smiled and pat my shoulder.

"Is that how you find a job here?" I asked confused.

They both chuckled and I swear I can feel my cheeks burning.

"Now we have a naive and innocent woman to take care of, don't you think Trisha?" Katelyn ruined my hair before getting up and walked towards the living room coffee table.

"We can help you explore some time like going to the mall, attending to parties- or even clubbing!!!!" Trisha exclaimed.

I scrunched up my nose, not agreeing to her idea. I never drink any alcohol beverages so I'm scared to even try my alcohol tolerance with other people. I'm scared that I will run inside the club naked when I'm drunk. Heck, no way!

"Enough with that, Trisha. Don't be such a bad influence to her" Katelyn finally interrupted.

I saw Trisha rolled her eyes at Katelyn but when she saw me looking at her she smiled at murmured a "sorry".

Katelyn helped me finding a job through online. She suggested some well known companies that I should try and some small companies if I didn't get any chance to enter one of those big time company. She said that it will be hard for me to enter a big company when I don't have any experience at all and I understand her. I even told her to just find small time companies and don't even bother to try those high end companies. But I guess it's better to try and failed than never, right?

"The interview at the Kim's will be 3 days from now, I hope you're prepared, Y/N?" Katelyn informed me after a while. I thanked her and even hugged her out of happiness.

Seems like days past faster than I expected and now I'm on my way to K.T.H company. I immediately fixed my skirt before bowing to the security of the building.

I immediately felt relieved when the security just let me enter the building without asking for anything. Guess the security here is not really tight, huh?

But before I can continue my smirk, my jaw dropped seeing the insides of this company. The design was magnificent. Every corner of the room is laced with gold. Is that even real golds? I was even shocked that in every corner of the room stands a security personnel. I counted the total number of the guards in my head and I was even more shocked at the total. They're 24!

I carefully walked towards the front desk so the guards won't see me as a suspicious being and drag me out of here.

"Good morning, Miss. Can I ask where is the Interview for the secretary is held?"

"It's on the 4th floor. But can you just wait for a few moments, miss? I'm gonna call someone to assist you there." the lady at the front desk said.

I just nodded and smiled at her as an answer. Not so long after, another lady approached me and asked her to follow her. The lady I'm following right now looks so good. She has curves at proper places of her body and her hair seems smooth and shiny.

"We're here, Miss." The lady said. Heck, I didn't even hear the elevator door opens. I was stunned with her beauty.

She guides me towards a double door and said that I can enter now.

I opened the door and was confused when I didn't saw anyone there except for the man sitting on the swivel chair.

I immediately bowed my head when I saw the man looking at me intently. He seems like the boss, I should act properly.

"Good morning, Sir. I'm here for the Interview-"

"You are hired."

I decided to change some few scenes from the story since I think that it was kinda confusing and was always cut short, it's also boring and looks like it is written by a kid.

A lot of scenes will change since I'm planning to edit the whole story. Expect some change of lines in the story too. I suggest you to reread it after my editing is done.

Anyways, did I improve? haha, I do hope so...
