After that conversation, the silence filled the field, I got up and left once the bell ring.
"What happen to you back in classe?" Alison asked me quite shocked.
"Nothing... She was wrong okay? And I just decide to shear that thought with her."
"Right!" Alison laughed.
-one week after-
Monday AGAIN! Last week me and Cameron didn't talked more, he actually ignored me, but well, what can I do? I'll let him be the kid alone.
Once more in the English classe with Mrs.Green, that I think for the first time Cam get in time to this classe.
"Good morning students! Today I'm gonna give you all the informations for your paper work for this semester, including the person you're going to work with." After she explain everything she start to announce the groups.
"So the first group is Sarah and Cameron, since both of them are such a good team in crime." Always SO funny I think to myself, but I simply give her a fake smile. she continuous to say the rest of the groups. She end and say for we to join or work partner.
"I know you don't care at all with this, but I'm not doing the work alone!" I say to Cameron once he join me on my table.
"I know... And I don't wanna you to fail because of me."
"Good." I state.
"Do you wanna meet in my house to start the paper work? Today?"
"... Okay" I say after thinking if I could.
"Good." then we stayed in silence until the classe finished.
The classes went by fast and when they over I went to Cameron's house after let my mom know about it.
Cameron's house it's a little bigger than mine, the only big difference between them is the double size yard with an huge pool.
I arrived there by walking and I knock in the door.
"Hi there!" he said once he open the door.
"Hello."
"C'mon in!"
"Thanks" I said smiling.
"My mom isn't home and comes late, but she said for you to stay for dinner."
"Oh, okay"
"Do you wanna change for something more comfortable?"
"Yes Please!!!" I said a little to excited what make him laugh.
"Here! Basketball shorts and a t-shirt, a little over large for you though..."
"You know me to well... how do you remember?"
"7th grade, it wasn't that while ago!"
"It kinda was!" Me and Cameron were best friends, I guess, until 7th grade, until his dad left, and Cameron's attitude change from the day to the night. When he became the bad boy we went apart, but he still remember certain things about me, that let me happy.
I change in Cam's room once he left, and when I was ready again I call him and we sat in his bed throughing ideas for our work.
And in the middle of us laughing from the stupidest ideas we were having, Cam blurted out an "I miss you!"
"Me too!" I said sad.
"I wanna be better.I wanna change, but I need help, your help!"
"I'll help you Cam, I tried once and you push me away, but I'll try again!"
"I'm sorry, I don't want to do that anymore...I need someone to hold on to, someone able to keep me here and make me not run away" I nodded after his words "Just promise me you make me stay !" he added waiting for me to assure it.
"I promise you, come here" I push him close to me and hugged him as tight as I could. He need me but he isn't the only one... I need him too! Because life it's not a fairytale and mine it's getting even more far from it!
