Yedam's pov

Hi my name's Yedam, i live in an orphanage with 4 other children and this is the story of how on one faithful day my life changed.

My life as i know it has always been different from others, when i was just 3 years old i was abandoned by my parents. I don't if i have sibilings or not but i hope to find out one day.

I was found inside of a box in a closed off alleyway near a barber shop by a hairdresser, who then took me to the orphange.

I live with two caretakers who i call Mr and Mrs Lee, i also live with 4 other children named Jyun Hao, Jun Hyuk, JunKyu and Haruto. Jyun Hao and Haruto aren't from korea so we dont really know how they got here. There used to be more kids but most of them had already been adopted.

When i turned 10 i auditioned for YG Entertainment with Jyun Hao. I had passed the auditions but Jyun Hao was still waiting for a letter by the time i moved into the trainee dorms.

A week or so after settling into the dorms and starting my teinee period i learned that Jyun Hao had passed the auditions but wasn't allowed to sleep in the dormitory because he was still to young.

A year after my training period had begun i met a trainee named Hyun Suk, he was only a few months older than me so we had decided to become friends, although sometimes i call him hyung to tease him.

I've learned over the years that Hyun Suk gets jealous quite easily, even if it's over the smallest of things but other than that he is my best friend and is considered extremely friendly.

***TIME SKIP***

It has now been 13 years since I became an orphan and 6 years since I've became a YG trainee, i still haven't found anythoing regarding my biological family causingme too give up i suppose you could say.

Some hood news is that Jyun Hao finally moved into the dormitory 2 years ago, so we are much closef now.

From what I've heard from Mr and Mrs Lee, JunKyu and Haruto are planning on auditioning for YG as well. I've also heard that Jun Hyuk has been adopted, i honestly couldn't have been any happier than i was when i heard the news.

***TIME SKIP***

New trainees are arriving in the studio left, right and center. According to staff that work in the company YG was forming a temporary team to feature on a survival show organised by his close companion Park Jin Young.

I was nervous despite the fact that i've performed in front of the CEO many times before. As the Ceo and mentors walked into the practice room i realised that at this point of time everything will change.

We were told by the staff that we had to select a song and peform it in front of the mentors and YG himself in our respected style.

I had decided to choose the song 'Humble' by Kendrick Lamar, i practised 7 hours a day after school ended and on weekends i practised for 15 hours.

When it was finally time for me to peform i could feel the nerves running through my body but i knew that i would have to overcome them all and perform like it was my last day on earth. I really hope and pray that nothing goes wrong with my performance and that YG and the mentors will like what i've prepared.
