This is the mantra that keeps Lindiwe going everyday. With her family barely surviving financialy, Lindiwe doesn't play around about her academics. Her only chance of escaping her meagre future being the Wiese Scolarship, she knows that she can't afford any distractions. Her ability to keep her mouth shut has certaintly helped her in this situation because no one at Livingstone Academy seems to pay attention to her.
But when her anti-socialness threatens her chances of getting the very scholarship she's worked so hard for, Lindiwe will have to do the exact opposite of what she's conditioned herself to do all her life.
She'll have to start talking
and who knows what that might lead to.
