"I'm back," Austin said. "Welcome back!" "Thanks."
I noticed that Zach returned back to his seat. Suddenly, I heard ringing. The source of the ringing was Austin's phone. "Oh, I have to take this. I'll be right back."
Zach's P.O.V
I couldn't keep my eyes off of Frankie and the guy who was sitting with him. When Austin got up from his chair and left, I took the opportunity to sit next to Frankie.
"Zach?" "Yeah, it's me. Listen, I have to talk to you about the guy who was just sitting next to you. Is he your boyfriend?"
"Maybe, maybe not. Why do you care? I thought you said that you never want to talk to me or see me ever again." "Frankie, I regret the harsh things that I've said to you. Don't forget that you said some mean things to me too. Let's just forget about the past. Okay?"
Frankie sighed. "Okay. Now, what do you want to tell me about my boyfriend?" For some strange reason, I felt a sudden sharp spasm of pain when Frankie confirmed that the guy's his boyfriend.
"What's his name?" "Austin," Frankie replied. "I just want to tell you that he was flirting with me in the bathroom. I honestly don't think that Austin's the right guy for you."
"Oh, so who is the right guy for me? You? You had your chance Zach. I wanted to be with you, but obviously you didn't. I was planning on apologizing to you and us becoming friends again. However, since you're trying to sabotage my relationship with Austin, then you can forget it."
Frankie placed dollar bills on the table before he left the restaurant.
