Chapter Two

3rd POV

The gang leaves the tavern and split into two groups when they reach the capital. Meliodas, Elizabeth, Gilthunder, and (Y/N) search one part, while King, Diane, and Howzer search another.

"Hawk! Where are you?" "Hawk!" "Hey, Pork!" (Y/N) and her group head down a set of stairs calling out to the piglet. (Y/N) giggles as Ellie glances back. "His name is Hawk, Gilthunder." "Pork, you there!" Ellie stumbles sweatdropping. "It's alright Ellie," (Y/N) giggles. They come off the stairs and check the garbage bins in their area. "Hmm, not here," Mel says after look. (Y/N) and Gil look in the other one. "I'm starting to get worried. Where could he be?" "Remember, he's small now. He couldn't have gone far," (Y/N) mentions. "Hey, if we did through a lot of leftovers, we'll find him before you know it." Meli closes the lid and walks off. "Have no fear, I'll locate that pig before anyone else." (In the distance, Hawk sneezes. "Damn, someone's been talking about me.").

(Y/N) and Meliodas walk on ahead with Gil and Ellie trailing. "Elizabeth if you win, what will you ask Meliodas to do for you?" "Huh? What about you Gilthunder?" "I'm glad you asked," Gil says smiling. "I've been thinking about and I'm going to ask Meliodas to team up with me in next year's Fighting Festival!" Ellie gives a closed-eye smile. "I see, is that why you're out here helping him?" "Partly and also I treated Pork rather horribly in the Forest of White Dreams." "Hawk! Hawk!" "Porkchop, where are you buddy?" (Y/N) and Meliodas continuously call out. "Oh come now, Hawk doesn't hold any of that against you." "Right, that pig is a really good guy. Elizabeth... I was pretty awful to you too." "I think you're amazing Gilthunder. I remember for ten years, you endured all that pain for my sister Margaret's sake. She told me about it." Elizabeth thinks for a moment. "Are you really leaving the capital, what about my sister?" "There are plenty of holy knights who can take my place." "You can't be replaced Gilthunder, nor the woman you love."

Meliodas and (Y/N) stop walking and turn around. Meliodas runs up and peeks between Ellie's legs with his head under her skirt. "Lil Gil, look behind you!" "Porkchop!" Gil turns to see Hawk walking behind him. "Sir Meliodas, please let me go!" "Pervert, get off!" Gil reaches to catch him, but Hawk dodges. "Ha, you'll have to try harder than that if you want to roast this pig," Hawk shouts trotting away. "Quick, don't let him get away!" Meliodas runs with Ellie on his shoulders facing the other way. "Right!" "Meliodas put her down damnit!"

"Thunderbolt execution!" Gil zaps into a bolt of lightning and appears in front of Hawk. "Ahh!" "End of the road, it's checkmate Pork!" "It's not Pork, it's Hawk. Hawk!" "Ugh!" "Super Roast Illusion!" Hawk zig zags super-fast and bashes Gil in the face then he runs away. Gil covers his face in pain and falls onto his knees. "Lil Gil, what happened?" Meli comes to a stop after reaching him. "Sir Meliodas! Please put me down," Ellie wails. "Oh I forgot about you," he says. Meli puts her down and (Y/N) comes up and punches him in the head. "Perv!"

"Hey, Hawk! Come on out, will ya," Diane shouts. King, Howzer, and Dee look for the piglet in another part of the capital. "We're not gonna do anything to you, so don't be afraid!" King floats on Chastiefol giving Howzer the stink eye. "Why are you tagging along," King says suspiciously. Howzer looks dead ahead and says, "I have some business here, that's all." "Mhmm." "Hey! What's your problem?" Diane turns around and gives them a look. "Come on! Less bickering and more looking, both of you!" "Right, sure thing," Howzer says flustered. "Pork!" "The name's Hawk." "Little piggy!" "Oh I wanted to ask you Diane, how are those injuries. Are you all healed up?" "I'm totally fine now, thanks. What about you, Howzer? Are you okay," She asks smiling. "Yeah, you better believe it," He says showing off his guns. "Course, I wouldn't count what happened to me as an injury." "Even though you almost died," King mentions cheekily. Dee turns around smiling. "Thanks the both of you." "Huh?" "Huh?" They all stop. "If it hadn't been for you two, I honestly don't think I would be here right now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart." The boys glance at each other blushing. "Sure, no problem." "Yeah, cool." Diane throws her fist into the air. "Right, I'm gonna catch Hawk before anyone else and then ask the captain to go on a date with me. Yay!" Howzer and King collapse at her response.
