One thing that Issac hates is school. Even though both Issac and Hazel are studying in the same school , though Issac was unhappy about something. Hazel do notice Issac's sudden non-interest in going to school.
Hazel tried asking him but he decided to ignore her. Hazel was so worried about her one and only best friend being weird lately.

H: Issac can you please tell me, what's wrong with you? I am dead worried about you. You are my only friend i have and you are acting weird to my nowaday. Why is that? Did I hurt you? Did anyone in school say something? Tell me please!

I: No, Hazel. You don't have to worry about me. Why do you even care? My parents don't give a shit about me! And why would you? Just let me die.

H : Issac , your parents and I aren't the same. And you are special to me. Ofc i care about you. You come first before anything else in the world. Just fucking tell me what the fucking is wrong with you.

I : Please Hazel. Let me go. I need some time alone. I will be going to my house.

Issac slammed Hazel's room door and left her alone at home. The only good thing that both their parents did was buying the house beside one another.
So if anything is wrong they both have each other since their parents are always out.

Hazel wanted to go to Issac's house and check on him. But since he asked her to leave him alone, she decided to respect his request and did not check on him.

But little did Hazel knew that not checking on Issac was the biggest mistake she did in her life.
