When Tenya went to sleep, he didn't think he'd be staring into the most gorgeous indigo eyes when he woke up. Startled, he yelped and fell out of his bed, waving his arm up and down out of instinct.

"Ha, cute."

Tenya squeaked and looked up at the floating.. teenager? He rubbed his eyes and looked up again. A strikingly beautiful male gazed back at him, his purple haired tied into a bun, and the bags under his eyes made it seem like he hadn't slept in years.

"Hiya, Tenya! You probably don't remember, but you summoned me a few nights ago! It took me so long to find you." The purple-haired teen stretched in midair, then sunk lower. Tenya was so confused. "However, if you've got questions, feel free to ask! I'm in a super talkative mood today."

"Who are you? What are you? Are you a ghost? Where did you come from?" Tenya took a deep breath, about to ask more questions, but the teen standing (more like floating) in front of him held a finger up.

"First of all, I'm Shinsou Hitoshi, but you can just call me Hitoshi. Second, I'm not a ghost, ghosts are losers who got killed. I'm a demon." The demon - Hitoshi - pointed a finger at Tenya, who froze in place. "In fact, I'm your personal demon, so get comfortable, because I'm gonna be here for a long time!"

"My own.. personal demon?" The dark-haired male pursed his lips, then pushed his glasses higher on his nose. Hitoshi giggled, a light, happy sound that brought a smile to Tenya's face. An image flashed through Tenya's mind; him and Hitoshi, cuddling on his bed, and Hitoshi leans up to kiss his nose. They giggle, and the image disappears. What the heck?

"You okay there, Tenya?" Hitoshi asked, his feet mere centimeters from the ground. The demon leaned in and examined Tenya's beet-red face. "Are you blushing or are you sick? It sure is cold outside.. lemme go make you some soup, lay down!" Tenya didn't hear a thing. He was too busy staring at Hitoshi's lips as they moved.

"Uh, can you repeat what you just said?" He asked, hoping not to be rude. Hitoshi looked at him from the doorway. How'd he get all the way over there? Wasn't he just in front of me?

"I said, it's cold outside, I'm gonna make you some soup. Was I speaking too fast or something?" The purple-haired demon asked, taking his hair out of the loose bun to tighten it.

"Oh, no, I just wasn't listening, sorry." There was a silence, and Tenya thought he'd offended Hitoshi, but then he started giggling, and the dark-haired male internally sighed in relief.

"I deserved that. I'll be right back with your food, alright?" Tenya nodded, and stared at the ceiling after Hitoshi left, questioning everything. How come this demon-boy-thing appealed to him in ways others didn't? He was a guy, for god's sake, and so was Hitoshi! Tenya shook his head, curling up in his blankets and staring at the door, waiting for the purple-haired male to come back, hopefully with food.
