If anyone in class 1-A was asked what they thought of Izuku Midoriya, then they would use the exact same three things to describe him.
1. Determined
Izuku just thought of himself as the luckiest guy alive, and that there was really nothing too extraordinary with his plain face and regular career pursuit.
2. He would do anything to be a hero
But in truth Izuku was the one who was wrong. He may have been quirkless at some point in his life, but he wasn't any more! Now he had the power to defeat wrong doers.
3. He protected the innocent
Izuku Midoriya was the true definition of a hero. Villains such as Shigaraki and Stain knew, the public who had seen his drive on television knew, his mother knew, but all those who were in 1-A knew especially. The look in his eyes when the Villains attacked the USJ, his drive at the sports festival. Those who knew of Stain remember the pain in his eyes as Izuku was nearly killed in front of them, but still tried to defend his friends. How far that Izuku had gone to get Bakugou back from the League of Villains, the scream he had made still haunted Mezo Shoji in his dreams.
The point is that Izuku loved his friends, family, and teachers. Since the moment he had kneeled before All Might and was told he could be a hero. Izuku had known he would do anything for those close to him.
Which lead up to this moment.
Kurogiri had opened warp gates all around them. It was almost like the USJ again. But how could this have happened?
—————
Izuku Midoriya opened his eyes to see the sun shining into his bedroom. Today instead of having classes there was a school wide 'free day', where the teachers held a day long meeting about an upcoming event and the students got to do whatever they wanted. A great opportunity for those in the classes who weren't as up to date in doing their homework.
He rubbed his sleep ridden eyes and got out of bed. It was 8:23 according to his clock, the perfect time to get up. He vaguely remembered his dream from that night, all he could remember was his group of friends smiling at him sadly in a photo, or maybe something else?
Izuku shook his head to clear his mind, then got out of bed. He did his normal morning routine. Get changed, brush hair, take a quick shower and brush his teeth. That day he wore (of course) a shirt featuring All Might with the words 'Plus Ultra!' above him.
He then opened his door and left his room to begin his day. He climbed to the bottom floor and into the lounge, where he saw a few of his classmates.
"Hello Uraraka-san!"
Izuku spied the girl who was close to the kitchen. He then trotted over as Ochaka Uraraka noticed her totally not crush.
"Hi Deku-kun! It's nice weather today right?!"
She was speaking in her regular bubbly tone, while on the inside Uraraka savoured the cuteness of morning Deku, of whom was too pure for this world.
"Yeah! I think I'll go for a run later, do you know what the rest of the class is doing today?"
Izuku felt like he should go out and do something that day. To help people out with inconveniences with their daily lives! But Uraraka knew for a fact the class was to tired to go out for that day.
"Sorry Deku-kun, but we're just staying here today, but if you go for your run later, can I join you?"
It really was a nice day that day, too bad a lot of the class instead of doing the homework they should be doing (cough Denki Kaminari cough) was sleeping in or doing video games. Some (cough Kaminari again cough) were going to do both and not even bother going outside.
