"Emma," the call of a rich old heavily accented raspy voice broke her from the compelling spell from those blue eyes.

She turned around and gave a smile that would light up a room.

"Monseiur Labet," she cried out running into the old man's arms.

He had met the man once or twice. His one of the few competent mundanes

"Monseiur Labet," emma cried out standing up from the chair and into his outstretched hands.

"My, how gorgeous you have grown cherie," fondness evident in her voice.

"Me, am nothing you however still dashing as always monseiur. You dont look a day over 60." She said with a smile.

"Your too kind," jace spoke causing everyone to turn to him.

"Ignore him, his just jealous that the pretty girl is spoken for, aren't you jace," scar spoke up to save the situation.

"Devastated," jace applied.

Emma sat down and he watched amazed as her cheeks turned almost as red as her hair.

"Something tells me am not the only one who is," jace is voice came to his head.

"Oh shut up," he shot back telepathically.

"Boy's she is mundane," evie said coming into their telepathic conversation.

"You dont know that," jace said.

"If she wasn't we would know," evie said "Our rings would have told us," she added.

Scar looked down at the ring on his left hand. It had a jade gem a symbol for their kind.

"Shall we eat," the old man said.
