Hell Awaits Us

Sadly, we weren't the first ones here. I saw tons almost millions of distress others in what looked like striped pajamas. They were skinny and frail. It looked as if you just pushed them they would shatter into pieces. They stood behind a chain linked fence that looked frightening and menacing. Their expressions were drained of all happiness, they almost looked dead. They had a bandanna like cloth on their forehead hiding their hair, it was strange for me to see this. Why would they be hiding their hair? What looked like names on their uniforms were actually tags with numbers like 29344 or 76848. Their eyes were sunken and lifeless. Most didn't know if they would even live to leave this horrid place. Some, but little, kept high hopes and tried to stay positive even if the worst was happening to them. Children cried, longing for their parents to save them from this hell their living in. Parents yearned to be the superhero and save their children, but they didn't want their child to be parentless. Was I going to end up like those children?
