Levi x positive reader

Why're they smiling, it’s been weeks, why haven't they broke yet. Levi was confused, it’s your fault too, you had arrived with the last bunch of recruits. At first you seemed like another average and useless recruit to Levi but that soon changed after he observed you for a while.

In your mind you were just an average fighter whose only purpose was to kill as many titans as possible. Though, it’s not like you wanted that to be the case, your parents forced you to fight. Of course you didn’t really mind, you were still alive so you were still happy. You had to be, it was what your sister wanted, before she was eaten, and you swore to never break that promise.

It wasn't long before your first mission. Of course something bad was bound to happen and you knew that, but it didn't matter, you had to stay positive. (I was so close to saying stay determined because undertale is my life😂) So off you went, to risk your life, and not even be remembered. Huh well I guess if I die at least I'll be happy. You thought to yourself as you rode your horse, h/n to the location you were sent to.

It didn't take you too long to get there since your horse was quick. You were the first one there so you decided to just sit and keep watch for a little while. You also decided to reflect on some of the things the other recruits said to you a little earlier. Who could they have been talking about? Whoever it was sounds awful. I certainly hope I won't have to meet him. These thought stayed in her mind. At least until the next soldier arrived.

What are they doing here? Isn't this their first mission? It's far too risky for a new soldier to be here. What were those fucking morons thing!? Jesus christ, must they be so fucking stupid all the damn time? So many questions, all a waste of time. They had work to be doing. Levi knew this too, but something in him felt the need to worry, just a little. They're so happy. How could those dumbasses put her on such a big mission? Have they just stopped valuing lives completely? More questions, even less time.

While Levi was busy pondering you had already spotted a titan and were preparing to attack. Once Levi finally snapped back into reality he immediately noticed the titan heading towards them, as well as you preparing to attack. Something inside him clicked and he felt the urge to protect you. Levi quickly sprung into action, ejecting the wire from his vertical maneuvering equipment  (had to look that up) and flying effortlessly through the sky, chasing after you.

Time was running thin as the titan sped up and prepared to grab you. As you were soaring to the titan you felt time stop as Levis arms made there way around you. Doing his best to get you behind him so he could kill the beast without letting you get hurt. Who's he? And why's he helping me? I could've done it… maybe? You internally sighed, wondering if you even had a chance at killing it.

You could soon he the sound of his sword meeting the monsters flesh. Followed by a loud thud as its body hit the ground. Not long after time sped up again and you could feel your feet hit the ground. “what were you thinking!?!” Levi yelled as you turned to face him, “well I thought that it was my job to kill titans, if I was wrong please tell me so I can improve” you said cheerfully but on the inside you were terrified.

Levi sighed “no, you're right, it is your job, but you don't have enough experience to be here in the first place” he stated while rubbing his head. You could tell he was stressed about this. Though you weren't sure why since you had only known him a few moments.

“well I don't know why I'm here” you said as your voice almost cracked while you recalled how terrified you were when you found out you were gonna be a soldier. “but I do know that even if I'm inexperienced, I'm still going to do my best! And save as many people possible!” you stated.

Levi was shocked how are they still determined!?! (😎) they just looked death in the eye, AND are obviously aware that they aren't going to last long. So why? Why stay positive? Again these thoughts filled Levis mind. So unaware of how to respond. You took actions into your own hands “well since our missions already complete, how would you like to discuss the outrage that is our commanders?”

Levi was, yet again, absolutely shooketh but he obviously agreed. So they set a time and place while walking back to base. Hand in hand. Like true lovers.
