Chapter 5.

Olivia's P.O.V:

If Pansy were to find out what I lied about she'd be furious, especially if Draco were to say no. The only way to not get beaten up was to lie again and say that Draco said yes. Draco would understand right?

After all it was a lie to stop Ron from knowing and ultimately everyone else knowing. He's dated Pansy before so it shouldn't be a problem.

I went to my dorm to grab a jacket and found Pansy with her hands on her hips. "What's this about you asking Draco to the dance for me? I can get a date on my own!" Pansy put her hand into a fist and held it in front of my face. "Wait!" Pansy looked confused. "What?"

"He said yes."

I walked into the forest and saw Draco sitting on a log. He got up when he heard my footsteps crunching on the leaves. "What took you so long?" "I needed a jacket. It's quite a cold morning."

"Sorry baby. I don't want you getting ill." "I know you don't. Draco-" "Baby I'm sorry. Sorry for all the times I've snapped at you. I know it isn't your fault but if he ever found out..."

"I know. Which is why I kind of came up with a temporary solution." "You did?" Gee I'm gonna regret this but here goes.

"I told Pansy you said you'd take her to the dance." "You what?!" "I said I told-" "I heard you. Why would you do that? I don't like Pansy anymore?!"

"Ron was asking why I was speaking to you and I had to come up with a lie, so I said I was asking for Pansy if you'd take her to the dance and well when I went to my dorm Pansy knew and she was about to hit me, so I said you said yes."

Draco stood up and started pacing about. "Ugh for fuck sake. I can't get out of this one or you'll get hurt. I can't even look at you right now! I'm furious!" Draco stormed off out of the woods leaving me sitting on the log.

I knew that if I went after him it would make things ten times worse.

Draco's P.O.V:

How could Olivia do that? I don't want to date Pansy. When my dad hears about this he'll be over the moon! He likes Pansy but only because her parents are evil and friends of my parents.

I have to go through with it so Olivia remains unhurt. Yes I'm angry with her but I still care for her. I just need a day or so to calm down then I'll go and speak to her and Pansy too.
