Chapter Six

Zayn’s pov/Yaser’s pov

"Uhm I'm sorry, but we as closing in five so..." The waitress tells us, both of Alex and I forgetting about time.

"Oh yes sorry. Can we pay?" I ask the girl.

"Yeah, I'll get you the receiving"

"Thank you" I say before she walks away.

"Yaser, I'm paying for my stuff, no buts" Alex tells me seriously

"No" I simply tell her.

"Yes I am"

"Alright but don't come to me when you find that money into an envelope in your apartment"

"Why can't I pay for my part?"

"Cause I say so. I asked you out for lunch so now you'll have to deal with me paying lunch"

"You are annoying you know"

"Well you too, so I guess we fit well" I say getting up and paying the bill.

Perrie would actually never do that. She mostly just assumes that I pay and won't even bring her wallet. And I really sound like I don't like Perrie anymore, I know, which is not true. Of course I like her; I just don't know what's going on with me right now.

Urgh it really sucks being me sometime.

Alex’s pov

He is so stubborn. Why can't I pay my part of this lunch, that's why it’s called MY part. Oh well if he wants to pay so badly, then I’ll let him pay, cause as a student I can use all the money I have.

"Alright, we should probably go before they throw us out of here" Yaser says walking back towards the table.

“Good idea”

We walk out of the restaurant, stepping into a shower of rain.

How the hell did we not notice this? It’s raining like it’s been dry for ten years, and we just didn’t notice?

Yaser covers me with his jacket as he tells me to run towards the car. So that’s what we do.

We run towards the car that is three blocks away. When we arrive at the car both of us are totally soaked, but the both of us are also laughing like we never did before. I guess running through the rain isn’t that bad after all.

“Shall I drop you off at home” Yaser asks when we made it into the car, and managed to stop laughing.

“Yes please, I’d really like a shower and dry cloths” I say grabbing my bag searching for my keys.

“Yeah, me too”

“Urgh fuck” I mumble, not finding my keys.

I close my eyes and try to think about the moment I grabbed my bag. I don’t really remember grabbing my keys, or going through my bag in the restaurant maybe I left them there.

“Yaser…”

“Yes, Alex?”

“I think I forgot my key inside of my flat”

“Well I didn’t forget mine, so we can go to my place”

“And what if your girlfriend comes home. She doesn’t know me but she already hates me”

“Then I’ll tell her to go cry in a corner and that she first has to get to know you till she has the right to hate you”

“Well do you have tea at your place?”
