Chapter 1- back to school

I woke up to the alarm going off, I pressed the button to turn it off and I got up, I looked out my second story window, all I could see was the building next to me. It wasn't like my new one, which was old and ugly, this one was a pretty house, newly refurbished, I could tell just by looking at it. I would never afford anything as beautiful as that house, even though it was just a simple 3 bedroom house, I loved it, it had a small play set out back, where I would sometimes see two young girls play. I remember the good days, when me and my sister, Marla would go and play in the yard behind our house, that was before she was diagnosed with cancer, she died 3 years ago, we were both twelve. I smiled, we had used to live a few blocks down from this road, but, we had to move to be closer to the hospital, "Emma!!" Yelled my dad "breakfast!!" I hurriedly put on my lime green shirt, white jeans and converse, ran a brush through my hair and ran down stairs. My dad was downstairs, it was just me, him and my dog,snoopy my mother, she was abusive to me and my sister, she almost killed me when I was five, that's when my dad finally was brave enough to take a stand and call the police, she is now in a maximum security prison, I quickly shoved down my pancakes, and caught the bus. I sat next to a pretty girl, who called herself squishy, she had long brown hair that covered her left eye, and beautiful sea green eyes, also a boy, who called himself squid, he had blonde hair in a mowahawk side swept type thing. Turns out they are really nice, and they like minecraft just as much as me!!!!!!! Also we are in the same grade!!! We got to school, and we went our separate ways. I went to home room, and sat next to my old best friend, Clara. Clara is that kinda of girl who makes everyone feel jealous because of her beauty she has sea green eyes, and long wavy brown hair, we kept in touch via technology.
