Later that night I decided to vent out some frustration in the make shift workout room that Deaton allowed me to build in his basement alongside my bedroom. Sweat was dripping from my body as I was wearing just a sports bra and my yoga pants and sneakers. My weapons were sprawled on the side table; it was just two long blades, a few daggers and holsters to store them into it. I was slamming my bare hands into the Wing Chun Dummy; a wooden dummy used to strength my skin against attacks from stronger skinned creatures. I got another hit in when I sensed someone coming down the stairs...two someone's as I grabbed a dagger from the side table twirling it in my hand. As soon as I heard them turn the corner I threw it full force into that direction and I saw it was Scott, as he caught it with wide brown eyes as the blade pointed between his eyes."You know...it's rude to sneak up on someone." I reminded lowering my shoulders moving up to him where I saw Stiles standing behind him. Stiles' eyes were wide as he looked at me up and down almost like he was checking me out.
"We know that Deaton is your guardian...we know you know about the supernatural and we know that somehow you are a part of it." Scott exclaimed showing my blade that I threw at him with such accuracy that no human was capable of.
"Are you asking me because you want to know or are you asking because you want to know if I am causing the sacrifices that are recently happening?" I asked taking a towel from the chair then began to dry the sweat from my body keeping my eyes on the two boys.
"Both..." Scott answered keeping his hard dark eyes on me in which I rolled my eyes tossing the towel back onto the chair next to me.
"Before moving here...I was a Nephilim Warrior." I answered seeing the two of them look at me confused by my words.
"What the hell is that?" Stiles asked in which I shift my eyes from Scott to Stiles then back to the werewolf.
"That is a half angel supernatural warrior. Born to fight the darkness in the world and protect humanity. Well I was one." I answered watching Stiles' brow lift up for a moment as the two boys began to process the information I gave.
"Was?" Stiles asked I placed both of my hands onto my waist before leaning onto my one leg letting it crack then shifted to let the other leg crack.
"That was my old life...I'm not one anymore." I answered now crossing my arms against my sweaty chest.
"And what about what happened at the Preserve? You saved those kids from Boyd..." Scott started in which I sighed shaking my head no to him shutting him up looking at both boys.
"Just because I'm retired doesn't mean I would let those kids die." I pointed out when I saw Stiles take a step towards me and my green eyes turned to him.
"We could really use your help." Stiles answered I shook my head no to him seeing the sadness hit his face.
"Sorry boys...that life is behind me." I exclaimed starting to move past the two of them as I entered my bedroom seeing that the two were still standing there.
"You helped us before?" Scott reminded me of the small incident at the school with him, his fellow werewolf friend, the big Voltron werewolf and the blind man.
"I felt sorry for you guys so I helped but that is all the help you are getting from me. I don't want anything to do with you, your pack, the sacrifices or those werewolves that you seem to be pissing off." I answered moving towards my bathroom that was connected to my bedroom on the right side. I saw both boys still standing there looking at me as I sighed taking the door into my hands. "You know the way out...have a good rest of your night." I shut the door not giving them a chance to speak or try to convince me to change my mind. I wasn't going to change my mind...and no one...not Scott...not Deaton or any of his friends were going to tell me otherwise.
