It's A Promise

Transferred Student

My alarm started ringing at 6:30 AM. I got up, brushed my teeth, took shower, and went to the kitchen to have my breakfast. My mom just toasted some breads and an egg was sizzling up. I love cold milk, so i had my bread and egg and just gulped down the milk in one breath.

"Bye Mom, I'm running late". My school bus was about to leave, and i had to shout at the driver to stop the bus, the bus halted and i got in the bus. the school is 20 minutes away from my home by bus. we finally reached school, and the students rushed to get down from the bus, i always get down last, I don't understand, what's so hurry to reach the class?

I walked to my locker and packed my books for the first class, Maths. Ugh.... I hate maths.

"Hey Ed, What's up"

"Hey Max, What's up?"

My name is Edward, but Max calls me Ed for super short haha.Max and I have been best friends since middle school, we do everything together, we even take the same subject in high school. "Ready for class?" asked he. "Lets roll!" I said, even though i didn't want to go to class.

Miss. Beth entered the class, with a student I've never seen before. Miss Beth announced that she is the transferred student. "Please introduce yourself Miss Holland."

"He.... hello everyone I'm Elli Holland, I transferred from Jeferson High school. I like to sing, dance, make new friends and so on. Lets be friends. Thank you!"

"Please take an empty seat next to that window Miss Holland, Ok Thank you! Alright class, lets begin our lesson!" (Time lapse)

The bell rang and the student started rushing out of the class. "Ok class don't forget we have test next week!."

The room was deserted at ones, only me, Max and Elli was left in a class. We walked towards her and introduced ourselves. "Hey, Elli, I'm Edward, but call me Ed, and this is Max, my best friend. want to go to cafeteria with us?

"Um.... sure i guess"

"Alright let's go!"
