Later on that day, Brock Hart walked into Reba's house. He was scared about going in because Reba was known to have a temper, but he knew she needed to hear his apology. He was insensitive towards her and he had to do something to fix it; he just hoped that she would listen to him. Walking in the door, he saw Reba sitting on the couch. He sighed as he moved towards her.

"I'm sorry Reba, for the way I treated you earlier. I shouldn't have been so mad about it. It just surprised me that you were pregnant. Even worse that I was the father. I have been married to Barbara Jean for almost 10 years, and now you spring more children on me." Brock said to her.

"HEY! As I recall, I wasn't the only person on the couch that night Brock! Don't blame it all on me." Reba hollered out. She stood up and looked into his eyes. Reba could be intimidating when she wanted to be, but he wasn't about to show her the fear he was supressing. If she knew he could be scared this easily, she might try to do something about it. But then he sighed. It was crazy to think that way. Reba was never that way with him. She wouldn't manipulate him intentionally.

"Okay, I will take responsibility too, but don't yell. Do you want the kids to know what's going on?" Brock asked her.

"No, but eventually they are going to know. It's not very easy for me to hide a BABY." Reba said.

"I know that Reba. We will come up with a way to explain it to the kids." Brock replied.

"Well I don't know because your lies are so transparent." Reba stated. "I don't know what we're going to tell them, but we aren't going to say anything right now.  Maybe I can come up with something to tell them." She looked into the air, trying to come up with a convincing lie.

"And the truth just sounds terrible." Brock said.

"What? Your wife kicked you out. I felt sorry for you, and let you in my house, and then we ended up on the couch together." Reba responded.

"That just sounds so bad Reba." Brock replied with a wince.

"Of course it sounds bad! It was bad! The whole situation is horrible," she paused, "but it is the truth Brock. We may not have a choice." Reba responded with a sigh. Just then, they heard a gasp. They both whirled around in time to see Cheyenne and Elizabeth.

"Oh my… How could you? Mom, are you really pregnant?" Cheyenne asked. Reba sighed, looked at Brock and sat down. This was not the way they wanted the kids to find out.

"Maybe this was for the best," Reba thought, "we won't have to tell them if she overheard us." But were they really ready for the kids to find out about their affair? How would Cheyenne feel knowing about this? What about Kyra and Jake? Would it confuse the relationship they already had in their children's eyes? Worst of all, does this mean they would have to tell Barbara Jean now, or would Cheyenne tell her?
