☁ Chapter 1 ☁

                           Archie's POV

" Where do you think Jughead is today? " Veronica my girlfriend ask me as we sat down for lunch. I shrug taking some fries off my plate and eating them.

" That boys everywhere probably causing trouble " I state as Betty walks over and sits with us. " Whatcha guys talking about? " She ask with a smile then takes a sip of her drink.

" Jughead actually " Veronica says as Betty rolls her eyes. " He's an ass " I turn my head towards the group of serpents howling when I spot Jughead. ' oh god what's he doing now ' I think but he surprisingly just flips the serpents off and walks over to us and sits down away from us all but on Betty's side of the table. Me and Veronica look at each other weird wondering what's wrong with him that's until we hear Betty speak up.

" What's wrong with your eye? " Me and Veronica turn to Jughead and holy shit he has the biggest black eye in the planet. Jughead shrugs ignoring her then puts his head down. " Hey Jug did you forget your food at home? " I ask noticing he doesn't have any food with him.

" Since when does Jughead Jones forget food? " Veronica sarcastically ask me. Betty looks at him a little weird then scoots over to him and taps his arm. I'm guessing that shocked him a little because he jumped.

" Betty " Jughead warns which now caused us all to jump not because it's the first time we heard him speak today but because he used Betty instead of Elizabeth or Cooper. At first he was calling her ' girl next door ' but then Betty got mad and wouldn't come to school until he used her name. So now he occasionally switches from Elizabeth and Cooper. Jughead gets up and walks over to the serpents and sits with them but he doesn't talk he just puts his head down again. The serpents all look at him odd then turn to us and we all shrug.

Fangs one of the serpents walk over to me, Betty and Veronica and sit down. " What's up with Jones? " He ask. " We don't know he just walked over here sat next to Betty which is really odd and put his head down. We asked what happened to his eye but he didn't answer and walked away " Veronica explains and Fangs gives a weird look.

" What's wrong with his eye? " Fangs ask. " Haven't you seen it? It's blacker then black itself " Betty says.

" Archie man we've got a problem! " I hear Toni who is Cheryl's girlfriend yell from the serpents table. I turn to them and see Jughead and Chuck which wouldn't be a problem if Jughead didn't look so pissed off. I then hear Jughead say something I couldn't make out but what it sounded like was " Don't call her that '' then before I can process it Jughead attacks Chuck to the ground and starts punching him. That's when all the serpents start cheering along with the Bulldogs and me and Veronica run over to Jughead and pull him off.

" Jughead chill man! " I yell pinning him to a tree because he keep trying to get away. That's when the principle comes out. " Archie Andrews! " He yells and I let Jughead go who goes straight back to Chuck punching him. A bunch of Serpents grab Jughead and pull him away and into the school while the principal drags me to his office.

" What did you do? " My dad ask walking into the school. " Jughead for some random reason started beating the crap out of a kid and I couldn't get him to stop so I pinned him to a tree and apparently that's assault " I explain shrugging. I got suspended for apparently hitting Jughead. Even Jughead told Principal Wetherbee that I was just trying to get him to stop hitting Chuck. " How is that assault? " My dad ask and I shrug. " Can we just go please? " I ask and he nods and we leave.

                          Jughead POV

" Boy why did you punch the damn kid? And where did you get the black eye? " I shrug and continue watching TV which isn't really instresting but I don't wanna answer no damn questions. " Boy I know you hear me " I roll my eyes when my dad turns off the tv. " Now answer my damn questions the you can watch the tv. Not like you like the news anyways. "

" He called Betty a serpent slut " I mumble reaching for the remote but my dad smacks me in the hand. " I'm not done talking to you. Where did you get the black eye? " I shrug not wanted to answer. " Boy! " My dad yells throwing the tv remote at me causing it to hit my head. " The Ghoulies beat me because I kicked one in the dick because they called Betty a bitch " I mumble grabbing the tv remote. My dad sighs. " I thought you hated Betty? " My dad ask and I look at him. That's when he smiles and points at me. " You like Betty " he says. I shrug and get up going to the fridge grabbing water. " Jughead Jones has a crush on Betty " my dad says again. I roll my eyes walking to my room. " Ok dad I get it, I like Betty "
