It was a sad and rainy day. One of Carl's favorite things was the rain, he stepped out just to feel the rain for a little bit. All of a sudden he gets struck by lightning. His mom, Ana comes outside and sees his son on the floor. "OH MY GOD CARL!" she says. Carl does not move. Ana doesn't know what to do so she calls the ambulance. In the distance she can hear the sirens of the ambulance. Everything is moving so fast, the ambulance are here. Ana is so scared that she turns around because she doesn't want to see her son like that. The paramedics check for his pulse, they think he might not make it. They shock him to see if they get a response, they get a pulse, its their but it's faint. The paramedics tell Ana that he is fine but he is weak and that they need to rush him to the hospital before they lose his pulse. "Okay Okay, but can I come with that's my son, I need to be with him" Ana says.
They get into the ambulance, Carl is unconscious, they're so close to the hospital. Ana starts hyperventilating because she is scared for her son, like the paramedics said he might not make it and that scares her. In the distance you can see the doctors waiting for the ambulance to come. Carl is still not waking up they get him out of the ambulance and into the hospital, the nurses stop the mom because there is a restricted area that they can't get inside. Thye stop her and they try to distract her so they tell her to sign some papers for her son. In the room the doctors are checking for everything his pulse everything. They wait a while to see if he wakes and not even a minute passes by and he wakes up with a strong pulse. He asked what had happened to him and the doctors told if he remembers anything, he said that he didn't know what happened. The doctors were a little confused because they assumed that he remembered something. A couples hours pass by and they check on him every hour to see if anything changes so far so good nothing ends up changing.
All of a sudden Carl starts to feel very weird, a type of weird that he can't explain. His hands start shaking and then his whole body starts to shake. He presses the nurse's button and no response. He starts to get scared because he doesn't know what is going on. All of a sudden he stops and then that when he starts to seize. Finally, the nurses come and they role him on his side and they wait until it's over. They check to see if anything was wrong they asked him a few questions to see if he was responsive. He was fine as if nothing had happened to him. Later that day he feels this force on his hands. All of a sudden his hands had this type of lightning circling around it. He was scared, he pressed on the nurses button to see if they would come, there was no answer, in his head he thought that they didn't want to come. What if all of this was part of an experiment? What if all of this was just in my head? He didn't know what to think, the more he thought of stuff like that the more he got scared. The lightning around his hand just kept growing stronger and stronger...... until the windows of his room exploded into tiny bits and pieces. Carl was still, nothing was happening. He was okay. He went to go check to see if a nurse was around. All he heard was silence. He checked to see if anyone else was around, he went searching all over the hospital but there was nothing. He finds out that no one was there to help him. Not even his mom.
A week has past by, and no one, not even a single soul was to be found. Carl was so scared that he might never be able to find his mom ever again. All of a sudden he felt that power again in his hands for the first time in a week he could feel the pressure of it getting stronger and stronger. Then all of a sudden he struck a building with lightning coming out of his hand. He had never felt anything like that before. He was always scared he never thought something like that would ever happen to him. Fast forward to a couple of years, he realizes that this whole time he was in a coma because of how severe the lightning struck his body. He knew he was in a coma because he never felt pain and all he was doing was just living in a dream. He found out because once in a while he would he hear his mom cry, he would also hear her talk but he never thought what it could be.
Carl never woke up from that coma, everyday in his mind he would just be living in a dream not knowing that he would never wake up. He tried everything. The "powers" that he had were fake they were all his mind. The last time he heard his mom's voice was when she said " I just wanted to know that I love you so much, but I have to let you go now... thank you for making my years great with you in them, you were the love of my life and you will always will be". That was the last time he ever heard his mom that day when his mom said that he died. The doctors told his mom that his organs were failing and that he would ever wake up from that coma ever again.
But carl wasn't dead he was still living but in his mind he wasn't physically there but he would always pass by his mother to remind her that he will always be with her.
