Reinforcements

(y/n) POV

Several days after Jaune began torturing dark me I realized that he wasn't going to be enough. "JAUNE! Call your sisters!" I ordered, Jaune shuddered, "HA if he wasn't able to break me what makes you thin they will?!" dark me said arrogantly. "There are seven of them your done." I said as I walked away, "(y/n) what's going on? Why is team JNPR here?" Blake asked, "Because I'm going to save Lucinda! Now I'm sure that Sky has a lot of questions about all of this and why mommy and daddy aren't getting along, so at least one of us should go explain things to her." I said as calmly as I could, "Why are you so upset?!" She asked, "Oh I don't know maybe it's because I had to watch my wife develop a drinking problem while actively keeping our daughter at arms length for four years! Do you have any idea of how many times I was tempted to just give up on my mission and reunite our family! But I didn't for the simple fact that if I did Dark me would find out and hunt us down until he killed the both of you." I said, "I realize that, but that doesn't give you any right to take it out on me or Sky!" She said, "I never said I was. This whole time I've been blaming myself for everything that's happened. Lucinda getting captured, Dark me showing up here and almost killing Sky, everything that happened was because of my choices!" I said, suddenly she slapped me, "Stop it. Don't you dare think like that! I know better than anybody where thinking like that leads and I don't want you to go down that path!" She yelled, "What happened to the man I fell in love with, or did he die on our wedding day. Look I've made my decision about us and if you think that you're really ready to go back to being the man you were then come find me." She said as she walked away.

Sky POV

"Mom what's going on?" I asked, "It's nothing sweetheart, daddy and I were working out a few little problems." Mom said, "Mom I don't want you and daddy to fight anymore. I don't like it when you two are fighting, I just want things to go back to normal." I said as I began to tear up, mom pulled me into a warm hug, "I know sweetie I want that to, but we just have to wait for daddy to work somethings out. Until then we'll just have to make dew with what we have for a family right now." She said softly as I began to cry.

(y/n) POV

I sighed and opened a void to Salem's castle. "Where do you think your going?" Yang asked, "To get Lucinda back!" I said, "How you don't have Negistigma anymore and there's no way we could support you!" She said angrily, "I'm going and if you think you can stop me, well then I guess Blake's not the only thing you lost." I said as I walked through the void.

I was in the throne room and knowing what I know about Salem, I knew she liked to keep her valuables close. I looked around for a bit until I heard a very weak cough come from towards the ceiling. I looked up towards where I heard the noise come from and saw Lucinda hanging from the ceiling naked by someone sort of weird tendrils. I activated divine and fired off two bolts of light causing the tendrils to disintegrate. As Lucinda fell I opened a void to catch her so she would land safely in my arms. "Lucinda, come on Lucinda you can't die in a place like this." I said trying to get her to respond. Finally she made a very weak moan. I quickly checked her pulse and found it was very very weak. I opened a void and carried her through.

"Good you're... back... oh my god what happened to her?!" Yang asked in shock, "I'll explain later but for now she needs Jaune!" I said as I ran into the house.

"JAUNE I NEED YOU NOW!" I shouted, "What do you... need." He said, "Help her!" I ordered as we ran into the living room. I lied her down on the couch and Jaune began to heal her. I walked down to where Dark me was being held.

"Well it's been something, but this... this is goodbye." I said as I drew God Fall and stabbed him. He disintegrated before my eyes. "(y/n) I did everything I could and while her life isn't in in any immediate danger she's not out of the woods yet." Jaune said calmly, "Thank you Jaune." I said as I walked away.
