Stress Comes Again (#2)- Completed

Chapter Eight

I apologize for the giant time jump. But it I wanted it to happen because I honestly couldn't wait to write out Bridget's pregnancy and talk about how excited Liam is going to be.

As the months passed by, Bridget's baby bump started to appear and it was clear she was pregnant. She was four months pregnant and the boys were all getting excited that they were about four or five months away from getting their niece or nephew. Liam in particular was getting more and more excited to have his baby on the way.

While the boys have to do another concert, Bridget went to the doctor's office to see what the gender was. Liam was down that he couldn't be there but Bridget promised to tell him as soon as they were done with their concert. Perrie and Eleanor joined Bridget since she didn't want to go alone.

"There's the baby's heart beat." Dr. Carol said as she looked at the baby. Bridget smiled and even felt a happy tear go down her cheek. "Have you guys thought about what you wanted?"

"We both wanted a boy for some reason," Bridget replied holding her breath.

"Well, I am happy to say you are having a little boy."

"Good, I thought it was gonna be a girl."

Paul walked behind Bridget, Eleanor, and Perrie as they got through the crowd safely and made it back stage but the boys were once again in the middle of a concert. Bridget plopped down on the couch and got comfortable. Finally, after what seemed like hours, the boys came back in and Liam plopped down next to Bridget. She put her feet on his lip and his hand instantly went to her belly and rubbed it.

"So what's the news?" Liam asked with a grin on his face.

"Yeah, a niece or a nephew?" Louis asked as the group look at her.

"We're having a boy." Bridget replied bluntly with a smile. Harry and Niall high-fived each other as Zayn and Louis sulked.

"Aw, are Zayn and Louis pouting?"

"We wanted a niece." Zayn said with a smirk.

"There's time in the future for that." Bridget looked at Liam who was hiding his smile. Bridget smiled too and put her hand on top of Liam's which was still on her belly. Liam was very impatient because he wanted to feel the baby move but he was quiet and still. As the boys talked, Liam pulled Bridget out into the hall and the two sat on the floor against the wall.

"What's going on, Liam?" Bridget asked as Liam intertwined their hands together.

"We have to go to the movie premier tonight." Liam answered looking at Bridget. "You don't have to go to it. I mean, since you're four months pregnant."

"Liam, I'm going to support you and the boys. I know you're talking about the fans getting mad about me being pregnant but I don't care what people say. I'm gonna tell you something. When I was with Connor, I miscarried twice. Dr. Willard told me I couldn't get pregnant and here I am four months along. I think this was meant to be and I'm not ashamed of it."

"Me neither, I just don't want you to get overwhelmed."

"I'll be fine. I have you to protect me." Liam chuckled and kissed Bridget's forehead.

"I'll always protect you."

The premier had a lot of fans around. There some other celebrities as well as the rest of Little Mix, David Beckham, and his family. Liam helped Bridget out of the car and he the guys started signing autographs and Bridget talked with Perrie, Eleanor and the rest of Little Mix. Liam then stole Bridget away as he was interviewed.
