"Have you noticed jimins becoming a lot weirder lately." I ask. "How?" Jin asks. "Well he's constantly clingy on to me, breathing my scent." I say. "Wait he's doing that to you too?" Jungkook asks. "Yeah." I say. "He's done it to me too." Hoseok says. We all look over to Yoongi, who's sitting on the couch, on his phone. "What?" He asks. "You know the most about omegas." I say. "Okay and?" He asks. "Do you know what's going on?" Namjoon ask.

"Yeah he's going into heat." He says. "What?" We ask. "You guys know nothing." He says. "An omega will go into heat after they turn 17." He says. "What's heat?" Hoseok asks. "Heat is a state where the omega will be needy for sexual attention from his mate or an alpha he choses." He says. They all look at me. "I can't do it." I say putting my arms up. "He's my best friend. It will just ruin it." I say. "If he choses you, you have to." Namjoon says.

"He doesn't have too." Yoongi says. "What?" They ask. "The alpha can reject the omega it the truly want to." Yoongi says. "See." I say. "But the omega will be in a lot of pain and suffering through the week." He adds. "So I have to choose helping my best friend with his heat and ruin our friendship or listen to Jimin struggling the whole week?" I ask. "Pretty much that's If he chooses you." Yoongi adds. "How will he chose?" Hoseok asks.

"Well 1. He'll choose the alpha which has his favorite scent. That's why he's been scenting you guys so much. The closer he gets the more he'll scent you. 2. He'll pick an alpha he feels safe with and that he knows can take care of his needs. It doesn't matter if you're close. An omega in heat will choose an alpha and stick with said alpha." He says. "So it could be any of us?" Namjoon asks. "Not you or because you're mated to jin." Yoongi says. "Oh okay." Namjoon says. "To be honest, who you do think I'll pick?" I ask Yoongi.

"No one can predict. Once an omega is in heat they will choose subconsciously. Just to be safe everybody should get condoms." Yoongi says. "So how long till he's in heat?" Hoseok asks. "It's unpredictable. You'll know he's close-ish when he finishes nesting." Yoongi says scrolling through his phone. "Nesting?" Jungkook asks. "Nesting is when the omega is creating a safe place. Such as a bunch of clothes In the shape of a nest and organizing things over and over again." He says.

"Jimin was organizing his room yesterday. Multiple times." I say. "What would he build the nest out of?" Hoseok asks. "Like his clothes?" He adds. "You guys are missing clothes because they're in his nest right now." Yoongi says. "He's surrounding himself in scents to feel safe." Yoongi says. "He'll also get extremely emotional." Yoongi adds. "Is there anything we can do to help?" Hoseok asks. "Well once you've got your laundry together set it close to your door a day before doing it. Like at night or when you leave the house. He'll collect the clothes he wants and then you can wash the rest." Yoongi says.

"Okay." I say. "Do you think he's built his nest yet?" Hoseok asks. "Yes, it's most likely in his closet." Yoongi says. "Can we go look at it?" Jungkook asks. "No." Yoongi says. "Why not?" Jungkook asks. "Omegas are extremely protective of their nests. If one thing gets moved then they'll flip out. If the scents off then they'll flip out. Jimin being the perfectionist he is, will be even more protective." Yoongi says. "Okay we won't go near it." I say. "Good." Yoongi says.
