Prologue

"Bzzz bzzz" my iPhone vibrated in my pocket. I let my hand into my pocket and grabbed it. I saw a call from Eve. Without wasting any time, I answered her call.

"Hey Eve what's up?," these 4 words came out from my mouth to start the conversation. A boring Saturday and a call from Eve. I hoped she would tell me some funny stories or stuff. Within 5 seconds she replied.

"Oh hey, nothing much. Alice, Alice, Alice, oh Alice!," what was wrong with this girl? She called my name excitedly. It was weird because she is always cool and relax but this girl is sometimes different. That's why I do love this girl.

"What?" I asked her only a word . Hmmm.... I waited her answer. The condition around me was really silent. I mean I was at a supermarket and a few people were here too. But I didn't know where the hell Eve was. It was so noisy. I think she was at a restaurant.

"Would you mindhhh accomph meh libry?," I couldn't hear her voice clearly.

"What?!," I asked her again but this time my voice was louder than before.

"Would you mind accompning me do thehh libry?!," she said louder but I still couldn't hear her voice.

"What?!!!," I asked her one more time. The people at the supermarket were staring at me weirdly. An old woman gave me a fierce glare and she was so scary even scarier than a ghost! A cashier looked at me a second then he continued his job back. From silent to silent. They were paying attention at me. I was standing there in the middle of the supermarket while holding my iPhone. Duh, Shame on me!.

"Would you mind accompanying me to the library?!!!!!!!!!," her voice was so loud and the people could hear it through my iPhone. I gave them an awkward smile. They continued their job back and everything was back to normal. Fuhhh thank god!.

"No I can't do Eve, my mom promised to have lunch together.... I'm so sorry Eve," I told her the truth. My parents are always busy especially my dad, when my mom said that she wanted to have lunch with me I was really happy like a monkey gets a banana.

"Ah it's ok bye Alice!," I hung up the phone. She is the only one who understands my family. I continued walking. I'd decided to go home because I thought mom was there waiting for me. I couldn't stop walking. I was so happy. I wanted to jump but I know the people would stare at me again. Yahoo a boring Saturday was gonna be an awesome Saturday!. Within a minute my iPhone vibrated again and it was a call from my mom. I answered her call excitedly.

"Hey mom, when? Where?,"

"Hello Alice, I'm sorry to tell you this but I have to. My dear Alice I have a meeting in half an hour with my co-workers so we can't have lunch together anyway maybe next week?bye dear I have to go now!," she hung up.

"What?!!!!!!," I almost wanted to scream and my piano sheets dropped on the floor. The people were staring at me again even that old woman gave me the fiercest glare in the world but I ignored them. My heart had broke into a million pieces. Mom is always like this. She promises me then she would break her promise. How long do I have to wait? My parents don't even care about me. Mom is a magazine editor and dad is a doctor. They're never proud of me and they always piss me off. They're very busy to spend time with their children even a second. I stood alone. I was looking down to the floor.

Suddenly a guy handed me my piano sheets. He helped me. I had no words to say and I took the piano sheets from him.

"Thank you sir," I said and I didn't look at his face. I ran and left the supermarket. I had decided to go to McDonald to fix my broken heart plus I was really hungry after an hour learning piano lesson.
