Chapter Thirty Six

Ed's POV

After I finished eating, I decided to talk to Niall and Natalie about finding out where Perrie and Hannah were. After a few minutes I got a text.

To Ed
From Perrie

Hey, I'm gonna call you in a couple minutes so we can talk....

"Everything ok Ed?" Natalie asks sitting down on the sofa.
"Huh? Oh, yeah. I'm fine." I said before getting a call.
"I'll be right back." I said before going into another room.

"Hey P. Where are you guys? When will I see you and Hannah again?" I asked after closing the door.
"Ed, I'm not too sure when you'll see us again. And as far as telling you where I am, I can't really say right now."
"Perrie, she's my daughter too. You can't keep her away from me."
"I know that. I don't plan on keeping you two away from each other." She explains.
"Then why not come back home?" I asked while trying not to tear up.
"Because I don't want to be married anymore. I can't do it anymore Ed. We never see each other anymore, and when we do it's because we're both doing something for Hannah!" She said.
  "What about Hannah? What's gonna happen to her?" I whispered.
  "It's gonna be fifty-fifty, but I'm gonna see if I can get primary custody over her."
As soon as she said that she didn't want to be married anymore and wanted to have custody of Hannah, my heart dropped. I didn't really know what to say anymore, so I decided to hang up.
When I went downstairs I seen Hannah still sitting on the couch watching something on her phone. When she looked up she saw me trying to hold back the tears.
"Ed, what's wrong?" She asked putting her phone down on the table.
"She wouldn't tell me where her or Hannah are. I'm more worried about Hannah then anything else." I said while sitting down on the couch.
  "What did she end up telling you though?" She asks.
  "That she wants to go through with the divorce, that she wants to have the majority of the custody over Hannah. It would be fifty-fifty but I would only get her every other weekend." I explained.
  "She can't do that can she?" She asked getting more and more upset.
  "I don't know. I'm gonna be going to talk to my lawyer in the morning. Hopefully they can help settle this so that way nothing can affect Hannah more then it already has." I said while tears threatened to fall.
  After we sat there for a few more minutes, Niall came up from downstairs calling for Natalie.
  "Hey Natalie can you come here please?" He asks.
  "I'll be right back." She smiles while going towards his voice.
  Me being me, I decided to slowly follow him downstairs to where they were going. Niall's office/studio.
  "Simon just called. He said that he tracked down Perrie's phone. She's at Jesy's place." He says after closing the door.
  "Isn't that a good thing? We have to go tell Ed." Natalie asks.
  "Yes it's a good thing that he found her, but him and Simon need to figure things out on how to settle this quietly before the press figure out that something's wrong and that they aren't together." He explained.
  "Yes, but if he realizes that we know this and didn't tell him, he's gonna be pissed at us for not telling him." She says.
  "I get that, but Ed's gonna need to talk to Simon. He's already gonna call him and tell him that they tracked her phone when she called him. He's not gonna know that we had a help in it." He said trying to get me to understand what he was saying.
  As soon as I heard that, I decided to make an excuse to go see Simon. So, I did the first thing that came to mind. 
  "Hey Niall, Natalie. I gotta go, Simon found Perrie at Jesy's. I'm gonna go over to Simon's to see what I should do." I said after I knocked on the door.
  "Ok, call us if you need anything." Natalie said while hugging me.
  "Don't worry I will." I said smiling while I left.

  Now I just have to convince Simon to help me get to Hannah and Perrie before it's too late.
