Nico
I walk, blank faced through the airport terminal. A few children glance in my direction, so obviously I return their stares with a polite smile.
I mean, I guess it's understandable to stare. I have tattoos running down my arms as well as a piercing or two on my face. So yeah, I changed quite a bit from my last time in New York.
This time I'm here for school. I'm going to Jupiter University which is outside New York City. It is also seen as the rival the Halfblood University, though I don't see the reason why. One is an art school, and one is a med school.
Anyway, I only have one person who remembers me in New York, even though I remember everyone else here. I was a forgettable person back then.
That's when I see my beautiful little sister holding up a sign with my name on it. Her chocolate skin is flawless, as usual. As is her beautiful golden hair. "Nico!" She squeals running to me.
I open my arms to her, letting her run into me. She wraps her arms around my neck, and I put my arms around her waist. It's weird being taller than someone. Even if my appearance did change quite a bit, my height did not.
Hazel pulled away, but kept her hands at my shoulders. He golden eyes examining my face. "Hm." She hums, then she looks me dead in the eyes and says, "You're more tan now."
I laugh, gently removing her strong hands from my shoulders. "Really? Not even gonna comment on the piercings?"
She looks at my face again, shock spreading across her features. "Oh my gosh, you do have facial piercings. Dang, you even went for an eyebrow one. They look cute!" Hazel says. "Come on, lets get going. We have to get you to school, Mr. College boy."
So, my little sister drove me to where I would be staying for college. Her and I walked into the dorms, looking for check in, and where to get my key.
When we finally found it, I got my key, and we walked to where I would be staying. I apparently made the mistake of not knocking before I entered my own room. As, when I opened the door, there was a guy with blonde hair 'passionately' kissing a girl. It didn't look like it was a good kiss either. I clear my throat, trying to get their attention without rudely barging in.
Their actions don't even pause and to make matters worse he starts to slide one of his hands up her shirt. "Nope." I mutter storming up to them. "Hey, maybe I should have knocked even though it's my room too." I state, loud and sarcastic. The guy, not only doesn't pause his actions he takes the hand that isn't under the girls shirt and flips me off.
And now my temper flares up. What gave him the right? This is my room too! "Hey, douche! Can you stop playing tonsil tennis for five seconds?" I yell at him.
He stops kissing her, but doesn't take his hand out from under her shirt. "What?"
The guy in front of me has bleach blonde hair, a pale blue eyes. He looks almost like... "Octavian?" I question. He doesn't even answer, just raises a pale eyebrow. "Fuck you." I tell him the storm out, grabbing Hazels hand along the way. There is no way I'm staying in a room with that guy.
"Hazel, you head back home. I'll find a place, don't you worry. If it comes down to it I'll stay overnight at the dorm." That's a lie, I would rather sleep on a park bench than with Octavian in the room. But, I can't let Hazel know that. She may be a junior in high school now, but she shouldn't have to feel sorry for me.
I walk around town a little, looking around. That is until I pass a nice little coffee shop. I decide to go in and grab a coffee. Even if it is weird because I have a suitcase with me.
