Chapter 5

Emily's Pov

After I slapped him pretty hard I looked at my shoulder and body and saw it all bandaged up. Oh he was gonna die, i never wanted to be saved. In all my life no one has ever payed attention to me and yet he saved my life and took care of me? This has to be a trick. I was about to rip the bandages off but he grabbed my hand in mid-air. I glared back at him and smacked it away. I tried again to rip them off but he stopped my hand again, well i have had enough. I literally pounced on him and kicked him to the other side of the cage. He smirked and counter-attacked but i blocked it and kicked him in the chest before he could make a move. He might be really good at fighting but i am too. i was about to grab at my bandages again but was tackled and put on the ground with him on top of me.

"Get...off of me!" I growled as i stuggled. His body was too much for me to just push off. He sat there and smiled as he held my hands over my head.

"Not so tough now wolfie." he said while getting off me and helping me up.

"I don't care if you trust me or not but i am not your enemy either, they are. So if i were you i would at least try a little trust for once, ok?" he said as we stood up. No i didn't trust him but what else was i suppose to do. i turned my head thinking of the situation.

"Fine, but once we are out of here i am leaving to another planet." i said emotionless.

Suddenly we heard a door screach open.

"Alright you two we are making a pit stop for a couple of days at the prison called Sebuna to see what money we can scam out of them for you two. So play nice with your other cell mates for a while ok?" the man near the door said as others zapped us and chained our arms and legs.

They walked us out of the cage and brough us outside and into another cave. When we stepped in we saw a hugw cell block with thousands of cells they pushed each of us into one and locked the door while our arms automatically unchained.

The cell had a small bed with dirt ground and a sink thats it. It was medium size and it smelled like rotten food. Our doors suddenly opened and a bell chimed signaling something. I walked out and saw that i was on a high floor in the cell block. i looked over the edge and saw water start to fill in the bottom, but it wasn't actually water. It looked more like acid. People started to scream and get to higher ground, but one man i saw was slow and tripped on the stairs. the acid caught his legs and turned him into ash.

My eyes widened and i looked over at Riddick to see the same exspression on his face. We had to get higher. He grabbed my arm and rushed to the stairs me stumbling behind his fast pace. After 3 flights of stairs we stopped and saw others screaming in front of us. We pushed through the crowd and saw terror as the next set of stairs were completely gone.

"This isn't suppose to happen!" one man screamed. 

I got to him and asked," What do you mean!" i screamed.

"The acid is suppose to stop at the first floor to clear all the dead bodies away but its not stopping!" he said with pure terror in his eyes. I Scanned the crowd for Riddick and found him.We met eachother half way. I saw him look around for an escape but there was none. Suddenly i saw i chain that was linked to the next floor and by the looks of it Riddick, me and a few others were only fit enough to climb it. I knew Riddick saw it too.

"Hurry, we cant be seen or it will cause chaos," he says quickly. We calmly walk over to the chain and Riddick motions me on after he pulls down to see if its stable. I jump on and he follows with everyone else screaming at us.

When we get to the top only 4 others followed us. I look down in despair as i see the acid reach the others feet and in a few seconds cover their whole bodies and turn them into ash. I dont cry. I will never cry again. They weren't strong enough so they weren't worth it. No, i have never killed anyone but it never matters anyway i am still a fugitive.

The acid lowers itself back down to the first floor and dissappears completely. But one thing is for sure that I have Figured out... this was a planned attack.
