(NOAHS POV)

all the people were just kissing and eating each other faces off. there was a dancing area but everyone was too busy to dance"I'm going to need a drink" Lizzie uttered "come on Chloe," she said grabbing Chloe's arm and dragging her to find the drinks. 

"hey man-" I started turning around to find Ace making out with a girl. I rolled my eyes and turned around and started walking in the direction of where Lizzie dragged Chloe. I turned the corner and walked into the kitchen to find Chloe and Lizzie sitting on one of the chairs for the Island table, taking shots.  shes so beautiful, and smart and kind and-NO NOAH she is your best friend. what am I thinking? ugh, I need a drink. I walked over and sat down next to Chloe, and grabbed a boddle of vodka and poured it into a red silhouette cup.  

"heyyyyyy" Chloe slurped 

"hi," I said

"You gonna drink that," she asked pointing at my drink

"yes," I said chugging down the rest of my drink, feeling the warm tingly liquids hit my stomach. all of the sudden she just started jigging. "what's so funny?" I asked 

"you look nice," she said smiling looking around my face as if she was looking for something 

"thank you, you don't look too bad your self," I said. but that comment changed her expression a lot. her happy giggle turned into watery eyes. I'm so confused. 

"a-are you s-saying I'm ugly" and with that tears were streaming down her face and she was running off. I ran after her but she was already gone out of sight and I couldn't find her.

20 MINUTES LATER 

I walked over to the front entrance to see if Ace was done yet when I saw something very unexpected. I saw a man and Chloe together leaning against the wall.  I instantly felt a giant lump in my through my stomach was turning and I just wanted to go lock myself in a room and cry. why was I feeling this way? we were just friends, she can do what she wants. and that's when I realized she was trying to push him away. she was extremely drunk so she must have lost most of her strength. Suddenly I felt a rush of anger come over me. I walked over and pushed the man down to the floor and kicked him. I got down and started punching him until in the corner of my eye I saw Chloe sitting looking at me scared and still crying. I got up and went to her. at this point, she was already standing up. "Chloe..." I said, but she didn't even answer she just hugged me. I didn't know what to say after that so I just picked her up and took her to my jeep and opened the door. I put her in and watched her as she dozed off. I went to the other side and got in. I texted Lizzie and then I texted Ace, It took longer for Ace to answer but I figured that he was to 'busy'

Noah: Hey

Lizzie: Hey, where did you go?

Noah: Chloe and I are in the car, Chloe had too much to drink

Lizzie: okay I'm coming.

a few minutes later Lizzie came running out the door and ran to the jeep and hoped in. "hey L-Lizzie" Chloe hiccuped  

"hi," Lizzie said softly rubbing her arm. a few minutes later Ace finally came, I drove off to Ace's House and dropped off, then I headed Lizzie's and dropped her off too. then we headed to my house, I didn't bring Chloe to her house because I knew for a fact that her dad doesn't get home until really late, and she can't is alone right now. 

"here you go," I said passing her one of my t-shirts and pair of sweatpants

"thank you," she said 

"yea no problem" I replied. I walked out of my room and waited for her to call me back in. About 20 minutes later she still didn't say anything, so I started to slowly open the door and headed in. she was on the bed in my t-shirt curled up in a ball. I started to walk off thinking she was passed out when she called out my name. 

"Noah" she yawned

"yea"

"don't leave me"

"O-ok," I said nervously walking over to the bed and getting in the blankets. and with that we were sleeping together, her head laying against my chest. she is so beautiful.
