"Hey, Scoot?" I yell, in the process of running to his door while almost sliding past it into the wall.
"Yeah?" He replies, putting down his newly fixed lacrosse stick.
"Can you please turn your music down because I'm trying to watch tvd?" I ask, giving my best puppy dog face because I know that he cannot resist the cuteness.
"Yeah whatever." Is all that he replied, moving his lacrosse stick against the wall before he turned down his music.
"Thank youuuu!" I say in a sing-song tone, going to skip back to my room.
However, with the volume of Scott's music considerably lower we— Scott and I —were able to easily hear the sudden crash on our ceiling. Although I'm assuming that Scott and I were definitely not thinking the same thing as the words; "Santa? You're early!" And "What was that?" Came out of our mouths at the same time. Scott's response being the latter, which meant that he sent a weird look in my direction.
"Stay here!" Scott ordered in a hushed tone as he grabbed Mom's baseball bat and headed towards the front door.
Seriously Scott? A baseball bat? What are you, Kol Mikaelson?
"Stay here you say? I think not." I say, rolling my eyes I start following Scott, my duck slippers quacking with every step.
"Seriously Mel?" Scott said, stopping his movements to turn and give me an exasperated look.
"What? They're comfy." I retorted, that being the only thing I had to defend my slippers.
After checking the front door Scott headed towards the back door.
Clearly he's looking to be murdered tonight but I'm not so I'm going back to bed.
"Look Scoot, there is probably nothing out there so I'm going to back upstairs to my warm bed but just whatever you do just don't die because the dishes still need washing and it's your turn. So have fun on your mission, soldier." I finish with a mock solute, not waiting for a reply before hurriedly running back to bed, the sound of continuous quacking still following me on the way up.

I'm not sure what the time is but Scott has been gone for a good hour or two and it's seriously starting to bug me. Unless he's decided to fall asleep outside I have no clue what he is doing.
Sighing, I pause my episode of The Vampire Diaries and head downstairs and straight to the freezer to get the one thing that would calm me down. After seeing my beloved ice cream, with 'AMELIA' written on it in neon pen, I grab it and head back upstairs.
I didn't really get that far because I see Scott stumble in the house, clutching his side and pale-faced.
I quickly place my tub of ice cream down and go towards him.
"Hey Scott, it's just me. What the hell happened to you?" I say as I pull his arm over my shoulder and head towards my bathroom.
"I'm not sure, th-there was a wolf I-I think and it b-bit me." He explains, wincing every now and then.
"Sit down and I'll get my first aid kit and fix you up, okay?" I say as soft as possible, as I lower him onto the lid of my toilet, grabbing the first aid kit from my cabinet above the sink.
Don't ask why I have one.
After washing my hands quickly I ask him to take his top off so I can see the injury properly.
When he does that I'm slightly taken a back by the huge bite.
Jeez, that looks sore.
"Was the wolf on steroids or some shit because that's a huge ass bite."
Getting out a few antibacterial wipes, I start to gently wipe away the dried blood around it. I accidentally press down too hard, causing Scott to let out a hiss, his body automatically moving away from the wipe.
"Sorry." I say sheepishly, finishing of cleaning the wound and putting the multiple wipes in the bin.
"I'm not going to stitch you up because I'm not very good at that yet and I don't want to cause anymore damage than there already is, so I'm just going to put a bandage over it. Is that alright?" I ask, looking up at Scott, his face slightly gaining the colour back.
I open up the bandage and, with gentle pressure, place it over the bite. The white bandage now covering the wound.
"Aaaand that's you done." I say, only just realising that I went into complete doctor mode while cleaning up Scott.
Mom would be proud.
"You may have lost some blood so may be best to just have a glass of water and sleep because you look like you're about to pass out." I say, cleaning my half blood-covered fingers again.
"Good night Melia, love you." He says, kissing my head quickly and heading back to his own room.
"Love you too." I say, tiredness finally creeping up on me.
I jump back into the warmth of my bed, bouncing on the impact and practically falling asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow, completely forgetting my tub of ice cream currently melting on the kitchen counter.
