Your POV
"I just can't love you anymore" he says with a devilish grin.
That's it.
I storm out of the restaurant with an empty expression upon my face.
I catch a glimpse upon a window nearby and find my eyes to be grey.
Grey.
The color chart discovered by scientists have stated to be the color of emptiness.
The color of no hope.
The color of darkness.
I open the door to the office I "resigned" from.
Familiar faces try to stop me from pulling a drastic move.
I ignore them as I climb up the ladder to the roof.
1 flight.
2.
3.
4.
6.
8.
10.
12, the highest.
I open the hatch to finally end what the universe started.
Me.
I look up to see a figure.
A man.
Is he going to jump too?
I walk up to him.
"Go away" he says blankly.
"I'm not here to rescue you" I state.
"Do I look like some sort of lost cause? I see it in the reflections" he stares off.
"I'm here the same reason you're here" I comply.
"To jump" we both state at the same time, earning him to turn back and look me in the eyes.
"You...you want to leave too...but...you look like you've got everything to live for" he sighs.
"I may look like it, but I don't feel it" I sigh.
His eyes.
They aren't grey.
They're a shade of royal blue.
The color of depression.
The ocean.
The lightest of night's sky.
"Your eyes..." he starts, he heads in my direction.
"They're..." he continues.
"Grey" we say.
"My name is Daniel Howell, and I want to make a deal with you" he starts.
"No" I blankly say.
"If you jump, I jump" he continues.
I stay silent as I don't want to be responcible for someone's life.
"Deal".
