Chapter 49

*2 years later*

Jades POV

Me and Niall are still a happy couple, he said he was gonna do something special for me tonight and I have no clue to what it is

I was finishing up on my college essay when I heard bells being rung

I was curious and I got up looking around

I walked downstairs and saw Niall with his hair nice and neat, he was wearing a suit, he was holding his guitar, and there were fairy lights in a shape of a heart and on the inside were pictures of me and Niall

Niall started to strum to the beat of 'Marry you' by Bruno Mars

Once the song was done, Niall bent down on one knee in front of me, taking out a small box

I gasped, tell me I'm dreaming!

"Jade, I've known you for a long time now and this is the next step in our relationship. Sure we've been through ups and downs but that's what good couples do. I promised you that I will protect you and this time, I'll protect you forever. I'm in love with you Jade Amelia Thirlwall... will you make me the happiest man on earth and marry me?"

I smiled at him with tears of joy in my eyes

"Yes!!"I said jumping into his arms

He held me tight and slipped the ring onto my finger

"She said yes!"Niall yelled and all of our college friends and close friends came

My girls came to hug me and I hugged them back

Niall pulled me in for a kiss and I kissed back with all the love in me

I'm engaged to Niall Horan...
